    Assigning high performance gpu in nvidia control panel doesn't work...

    In nvidia control panel i have set nba2k15.exe in order to use the high performance gpu and launched the game obtaining very low FPS even at lowest details. In the videosettings.cfg i noticed that the adapter doesn't correspond to my nvidia card but to the integrated gpu of the intel chipset:

    ADAPTER = 0
    ADAPTER_DESCRIPTION = Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
    ADAPTER_DEDICATED_VIDEO_MEMORY = 67,108,864
    ADAPTER_SHARED_SYSTEM_MEMORY = 1,711,276,032
    ADAPTER_VENDOR_ID = 0x8086
    ADAPTER_DEVICE_ID = 0x126
    ADAPTER_SUBSYSTEM_ID = 0x4b81028
    ADAPTER_REVISION = 0x9

    like if the game does not recognize the nvidia card. I tried to change ADAPTER = 0 to 1 deleting the rest but with no success.

    I have an Intel i7 Cpu, 4gb ram and nvidia gt555m 3gb dd3 with latest drivers, i don't pretend to play at maximum details but i think i can handle the game at least at medium. With this requirements i played almost at highest details games like Batman Arkham Origins and Splinter Cell Blacklist with no problems.

    Looking at CPUID HWMonitor while executing nba2k15 the gpu temperature doesn't reach the numbers i had playing the games above, as if it were not used at all.

    I need help please....

    Go to your NVIDIA Control Panel and assign it to the game

      Thanks, but as you can see in the first lines of my post i already did it.

      BTW, i solved changing some values in windows7 registry that prevented the switch between integrated and nvidia card.

        Please, please, please tell me how you did it, I cannot get it to work, I know that the game is trying to run on integrated graphics the entire time, so please tell me how to do it.

            If you have a dedicated GPU like Nvidia or AMD you should set your bios not to use the integrated GPU on your CPU. This way the game will not be able to see the integrated GPU at all.

              Nole where would the AMD user go to do that?

                I'm suffering the same issue. My integrated graphics won't switch with my NVIDIA. Knowing that you already found solution to the problem, may I ask what steps did you do? Thank you!

                  This is my videosettings.cfg. I can't change intel graphicss 4000 to NVIDIA. Could you please teach me how? Thanks.
