New Patch Released?

Was just reading the console forum and saw they were getting a new patch, so I turned on Steam and saw a 92.2 MB update downloading. This is considerably smaller than the console's 2.84 GB patch, but I had just checked Steam yesterday and nothing showed up.

Can anyone confirm this?

I got the update also, don't know what it addressed because the servers are still Broken! I guess I can try quick match to see what they fixed.

bcruise and nuttyrich, the patch is addressing shoe issues, but the servers, exactly, Rich, still broken. So nobody can enjoy their shoes, VC purchase. Of all the times to have this problem...

If you have Steam, it updates automatically as soon as you click the program on. Servers are fixed, thank goodness, today.

Now it's working again.

What I recognized in my first game: Shooting got drastically changed. You get perfect release much more often and what I like even more, if you don't hit the timing perfectly, the penalty has been reduced, so being slighty off still can produce A+/A- shots, if they are good, open shots with a good shooter.

Another change I recognized was, that on the one side, open shots tend to go in much better and being better rated gradewise, and on the other side if there is a defender challenging your shot, the shot grade goes down drastically.

I've seen a lot of people talking about that on the Steam forums but you're the first one I've seen react positively to it. I played a game in MyCareer but I didn't really notice any difference.

Patch destroyed my game, all players invisible and game crashes... I've almost had my fill with 2k garbage,

Same here...WTF is going on???

Loaded up my season tonight and half the players were invisible.

This is seriously crap.

Any word of a fix???

Every time there is a patch it creates new problems. I am really angry about this. Half the teams are invisible now.

Even on the loading screen....for example La v Utah, the Jazz player is missing.

I then go in the game and the Jazz players are all invisible.

WTF is going on?

What season are you guys crashing in? Thought I'd try simming a few and seeing if mine does too.

Edit: Simmed through 2018 on a fresh MyLeague post-patch. No crashes.

I'm yet to have a crash, but there are a lot of temporary freezes. Almost every time the game tries to go into a replay I have to stare at a very dimmed screen for about 5-20 seconds. I've turned off replays for the time being.

Man, sucks to hear i'm not the only one. But there is currently no fix that i know of. I had to re-install the game again. Freaking sucks man, being that the install process is one file at a time. Really upset about this.

Yep, needed a complete new install to fix it.

Plays olay now...but I have had the game freeze once, which it never did before this new patch.

Honestly, they must not even test these things for bugs.

Love the game...but would happily move to another series if there was a viable alternative. Tired of bugs every year. I gave up on My Player months ago when I logged in one day and there was someone else's myplayer guy in my place.

All I play now is an offline season, so it is really annooying me that online bug patches stuff up things for me. I don't even buy shoes or jerseys etc.
