I've got a few questions regarding the PC version of NBA 2K15

I recently made the jump from console to PC gaming and I'm looking to get the PC version of this game, even though I already own it on the Xbox One. I have a few questions I'd like to ask before I make my decision on buying it again.

1.) Is there a noticeable difference from the console version? (i.e. framerate, textures, etc.)

2.) MyLEAGUE is pretty much all I play, so good rosters and draft classes are a must. What are the community files like on the PC?

3.) How populated is the game online? I ask because I have FIFA 15 on my PC, and I constantly struggle to find games, due to the fact that the game only has 500 people online.. I don't know if it's just a PC thing, or if it's just FIFA.

Re: I've got a few questions regarding the PC version of NBA 2K15

    1) The great thing about PC is you're free to go beyond 1080p if your rig/monitor can handle it. Always is nice, look through the picture and 2560x1440 threads for some beauty. Framerate is locked to 60, though (anything other than a steady 60 is a pretty bad experience).

    2) Alby's roster is good and the Mauroth-Kao draft classes are excellent. Overall much smaller file sharing community than the consoles, it's a shame they're locked to each platform. You have the option to add custom cyberfaces and the like with PC, though there aren't as many as in past years.

    3) I don't play online, but I'm going to assume the numbers are much smaller than the consoles. Just aren't as many sports gamers on PC for some reason.

right now I'm gaming on a 1080p LED tv and it looks better on PC than XB1 trust me! ( I own both). Looking to get a UHD tv shortly to crank up the experience..

The console versio is much more fun, especially if you use a pad.

I disagree but each to their own. I bought it day 1 for XB1 and I rarely played it. I just bought it for PC and have logged a ton of hours already. I find the game to be much more sluggish on XB1 than PC.

Genuinely curious, what is much more fun about the console version? I was under the impression that gameplay was no different.

There's no difference, they are literally the same version. The only difference will be online play as there are more users on console vs PC version. The console and PC versions themselves though are identical.

I'm a brand new user of NBA2K15, having never played the series before. Is there something like a comprehensive manual to explain the game? The only PDF manual I could find does not contain much information. Also, is it possible to save and exit a game (like at halftime) and then return to finish it later?

This has probably been asked a million times and I have searched the forums. Is there a way to use custom rosters yet for MyCareer; even with Modding?

I'm sure the answer is no, or I would have found something by now.

Oh god no, The PC version is far superior. Playing at 60 fps alone makes it way better and more responsive.

Consoles are also at 60 fps.

Um, no, it's definitely 60 fps across all platforms. I'm pretty sure the animations are recorded at 60 fps anyways so you would actually see stuttering or other problems at lower framerates.

I'm about to make the jump too - can I use my PS3 controller? I don't want to have to get a new controller for this.
