I had bad stuttering and tried a lot of different settings and finally found settings that make the gameplay as smooth as it should be for me with my overclocked i7 3770k and 980Ti Classified on 1080p.

What I did:
Ingame: V-Sync off and Buffers 1, everything else maxed out
Nvidia Driver: V-Sync On, Max Prerendered Frames 1, Power Management Maximum Performance
Nvidia Inspector: Antialiasing Mode Override Any Application Setting, Antialiasing Setting 16S (2x Supersampling +4x MS) (You can lower this if your GPU can't handle it)

I don't know what did the trick of these, since I tested them all together and not step by step, but I looks absolutely fantastic now and plays smooth as it should at a constant 60FPS without stuttering.
Maybe some of you want to give them a try, maybe it will help to smooth things out for some of you.

So as far as gameplay impressions now I have a few games under my belt...ball-rim interaction seems a lot better, players have more weight to them and player on player interactions (body contact) are much improved. I suck at the new passing controls and lob a turnover a lot trying to post up...lol, I think once I get used to it I'll be fine but that finger muscle-memory was built up on a LOT of 2K15 hours.

I haven't been able to get into MyTeam today which is dissapointing. Also not liking the MyCareer initial story much, cliche story with too many scripted things I have no control over, I bet it's more jarring to make a caucasian player with your twin though (might do it later but first one is gonna look like me dammit). Be Spike Lee's story, though I haven't played through my last bit of college yet so take that for what you will since it may open up way more after that initial first act. I can't gripe too much though since the on-court gameplay is indeed improved. I find the euro-step a lot less overpowered than last year too where I could use every 2 and 3 in the game with it and basically look like Harden all the time.

Game is huge (Y) got it early on PC/Steam.....play on low settings on my Quad i7 + 640M

Some nice stuff I saw:

PRO:
- Rim Ball Physics is insane
- Got some huuuge blocks and some spectacular Dunks
- I love the pace / speed of the game
- Rim Sounds are almoust new....still some old SFX 2K need to remove
- Animations are stellar
- Defense Matters and you can protect paint


CONS:
- Net Physics is bad not updated IMHO
- Main Menù / Intro was great on 2k15.....I personally don't like them in 2k16

QUESTIONS:
- I heard that player intro for both teams are in 2k16 did someone saw them?
- I play on low settings so maybe this is the couse....why so much light in playing at Staples Center or MSG? Do I have to play in Highest settings?
- Sometimes play by play is stopped...it did happen at the end of the 4th period is this a bug

Stuttering again. Not as bad as last year, but bad enough. If they can get this smooth, though.... Kenny,Ernie and Shaq looked photo real. Wow. The in game graphics are simply insane, too. I'll wait this out for the fix. This is going to be insane when fixed.

Experiencing lots of random crashes, be it at startup, coming in and out of menus and during game play. Also saw the bug with commentary going MIA in the second half. I didn't feel good when I preordered last minute yesterday since I was still good with 15 but it looks like I'll be playing last years game until they patch this one anyway.

The court reflections are insane. Graphically on maxed out settings this game is insanely beautiful. The best looking sports game hands down. The lack of offensive rebounds is a problem though. Even lowering the defensive rebounds to 30 didn't fix this. So I am going to raise offensive rebounds to 80 for both sides.

Watched 99 Raptors vs 02 Mavs. Raptors got destroyed. Mavs picked and rolled them to death. Nash finished with 10 points, 12 assists and 4 rebounds. Vince and Tmac really didn't do much, a couple of nice dunks but that was it. Really enjoying the ball handling.

The game runs great on my PC, though I've had some random "crashes" happen where it just closes to the desktop, but not during a game though.

There is also a crazy VC glitch at the moment on PC.

What is the VC glitch? just wondering if it's worth starting a MC with it. Also still waiting for my pre-order VC bonus :|

Game is awesome though.

I feel for you guys beta testing on a system 2K doesn't care about. Maybe by 2k20 the PC verison will launch playable.

I feel for you guys beta testing on a system 2K doesn't care about. Maybe by 2k20 the PC verison will launch playable.

Plays fine for me so far. Even the PC first dev studios will put out code that has issues with certain configs. The concept of playing with drivers and settings on release is part of life as a PC gamer.

This is something that should be taken care of before the release though. There is no beta or demo...Why not?

Game is awesome though.

It's nothing that will hurt your career (in terms of progression/getting enough VC), but apparently you can get unlimited VC, so online is already filled with maxed guys.

Ah okay, thanks for clarifying. Is it an actual in-game glitch, or is it just people using a certain popular memory editing tool to unlock upgrades etc? If it's the latter, I'm not sure how you stop that - a whole lot of server data validation I guess.
