I never got the game on PC at launch and I have 2K16 and I've experienced stutter/fps drop/commentary going out. I'm just wondering for 2K15 how was it optimized when the game released did they release a patch/better performance/nvidia drivers right when the game came out?

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. This is the first PC game I've ever purchased at launch so it's my first real experience with a not quite finished game...no idea of the typical timetable. I can run the game at 60 fps by turning the settings way down to just about minimum, but I'm nowhere near what I ran 2k15 at. -

I'm wondering the same thing. Just had my first chance to play a full game today, and my computer started rattling towards the end of the game. Rattling. Now I'm sure it's one of the fans on my GPU or possibly my CPU (I didn't get any overheat warnings), but I have not had this issue with any other game so far. I do not run at max settings either, so I hope this is something that an optimization patch can fix. 2k basketball typically doesn't burn my system out.Comment

Good question - I thought 2K15 was optimized at launch but can't really recall.
I remember it working perfectly on launch night.
I am disappointed that 2K16 doesn't - mine works well enough (so I feel bad for the guys out there with bigger issues than me).
Really hoping something is done soon so we can just optimize it and get on with it......Comment
