MyGM and Team-Relocation feature

Hey,

I really like the new feature (Team Relocation) in MyGM mode, because this gives me the chance to create the Vancouver Grizzlies

Now my problem is, that the NBA-Board deny's the relocation. i started 2 attempts with Memphis franchise, but at the end the nba denied it.

Has anyone tips for me for a 100% successful team-relocation?

Oh and another question <--- How can i upload a team-logo? want to use the original vancouver grizzlies logo? or is this feature not in the PC-Version integrated? thanks for help

When you're doing the relocation branding you can get logos other people uploaded from the 2k community creations. You can upload your own as well if you have Steam on nba2k.com/upload.

As far as the relocation process you just need to save enough money from the owner to add enough amenities to your new arena. If you wait until season 2 or 3 and pass all of the owner goals it shouldn't be too hard to get 16 votes.

I had a 2.1 star arena in year 1 to take Sac town to Seattle and I was 1 vote short of getting approved. I'm sure with a 3rd level luxury suite, parking, and great seating I would've been approved.

You can upload your own as well if you have Steam on nba2k.com/upload.

Does this actually work for anyone? After logging in through steam, it just gives be 502 and that's about it.

I used it to upload some Sonics logos. They got to be .JPG files and the height and width have to be the same amount of pixels.

I can't even get to the upload dialog or whatever. As soon as I log in, it gives me 502. Can you access the upload page at the moment?

I don't mind but you'll have to explain to me how exactly that will work. There's no link to the image once I upload it and I'm not sure how it works in game. Email is my username at gmail.

And I can search your pictures via your gamertag (aka see all uploaded pictures of one certain user).

I'm loving this as I moved OKC back to Seattle but I have a question for both Modes that have relocation. Do I have to be in control of every team that I want to relocate? If so is there a way to have that team ran by the CPU once I am done?

In MyGM you have to be in control to relocate a team, no way to make the CPU run a team (unless you get fired).

In MyLeague, you must be in control to relocate the team -- you can control all 30 teams in MyLeague (if you're on PC you can relocate all 30, if not only 3 of them). You can set all 30 teams to user controlled, but then set the all the tasks to "Auto" for the teams you don't want to fool with -- however, you'll still be able to relocate/rebrand them. Highly recommend setting the trade approval to on (making you approve all trades because the CPU is still Billy King levels of dumb in terms of trade logic) and I'd also recommend you deal with all teams contract extensions (as the young players ask for WAY under their normal market value -- any player getting extended at this point should be making upwards of 10M a year at least if they're above a 75 rating, really, IRL, but they'll sign for way under that at like 3M a year sometimes).
