Subpar performance? Please post your DxDiag.

It would help if you included your basic system specs in the post and then attach your DxDiag, but merely attaching your DxDiag should suffice. Please be specific about which parts of the game seem to have subpar performance, and if you're noticing steadily sub-60FPS framerate or if you have steady 60FPS but are experiencing stuttering.

Only post your impressions if you've played the game after getting yesterday's Hotfix 2.

Stuttering in replays between quarters and at end of match. Fps is locked at 60 but stuttering is present. This is since early access and still is not fixed and I highly doubt that it will be fixed as 23 said some apsolutely same bugs two years in a row.

Also Leftos, when I enable vsync in game, shadow play overlay wont show fps (didnt try recording) and when I enable vsync through nvidia CP then it works.

One more thing, why is antialiasing quality greyed out? Is this something on my end or it is perma disabled? Pic in attachments.

        i7 4770k & 970 gtx

PS. Players are colliding with each other too much and arms going up, often stuck on another opponent. Like they are glued to another guy.

Alsooo I must notice, point of emphasis are looking like they are messed up since last hotfix. Protect paint, crash D boards and play phisycal are mine PoE but something is broken and my big guys are most of the time behind the board and cant defend. Opponent come to paint, get ball and easy score while my centers are behind board contesting them and jumping. This was not like this before hotfix #2.

Congrats on AI, it is really good but other parts of game are very bad. I cant play one game without frustration and every year it is same. Bad port and wait 2-3 months to fix it.

Nothing related to the AI or points of emphasis has been touched with the hotfix, however there might be updates being done "over the air" similar to roster updates for gameplay as well. I'll pass your feedback on, but please keep this thread related to performance-related discussion.

Just so everyone knows, I was told that Full Screen performance should now be at par if not better than Full Screen Windowed. Is that what you're seeing as well, or is Full Screen Windowed still performing better for you?

My experience has been pretty good, I could see some micro stuttering in between quarters but I didn't really care. I'm running a 4770K 980Ti DSR in 4k on a 1080p monitor. I'll post my Diax diag when I get home.

I am playing game in fullscreen. Have more stuttering in fullscreen windowed mode. At least that was the case in that 4 day early access period. Havent tried since then.

Sorry, my recording software is coming through choppy as crap so I can't really give you a guage with that. Ill try to find something else for you.

Its actually running better than last night which was a hot mess. It was stuttering and lagging commentary in slo mo while that happened.

It was mostly on fastbreaks and when there was a scramble inside the paint

EDIT: I was able to just stress test it, run, throw it in the post. While its not lagging as much the audio stuttering that you hear is what causes the isseus. It could be a bit smoother, but for some reason right after the update it was playing really bad.

Today has been better but with some smaller stuttering here and there

                    Here is my dxdiag report:

                    Spoiler

I switched back to a Nvidia580 from a 970 this past week. Micro-stuttering the same with both cards.

Places I notice it most: Transitional video sequences; after fouls, time-outs, between quarters.

Usually what I notice is the video will be switching between camera views and in the process, the audio dialogue will call up an overlay/stat graphic. Sometimes it seems the transition between camera views is not complete before it switches to the overlay.

Also, minor audio-stutter noticed when multiple audio clips seem to overlap: where the "on-the-court" audio (ie referee talking) overlaps announcer audio again calling up statistical overlay graphics.</media></transform></transform></transform></media></brief></handler></url></brief></handler></file></file></file></merit></flags></transform></transform></category></filter></filter></media>

Tried now full screen windowed and there is no difference between full screen and full screen windowed for me. Stutter is present mostly between quarters in replays and cutscenes but also sometimes after fouls.

Re: Subpar performance? Please post your DxDiag.

Leftos and 23, I deleted my config file so the game generated a new one post patch. As always it automatically set everything on high. Stuttering was there, some slow-mo movements also. Dropped everything on low and performance was even worse. I even reduced the resolution to 720p(!!!) but again the issues were there.
After this I had the idea to set the refresh rate to 59.9Hz in the options menu. Suddenly the game run a LOT better with the settings on low. I then put everything on medium-high and everything was nearly smooth and it run even better than low settings! Now I'm running the game on medium textures and crowd, high player detail and shaders. I have a bit of stuttering on the edge of the 3-pt line and in fast breaks but it's definitely a major improvement.
That said, I believe Leftos you should look again the vsync-to-refresh rate coding. This is the cause of most problems with stuttering. I'm not an expert in coding but I'm quite sure that's also one of the reasons the game runs almost perfectly in 2k Cam.
I hope I've been helpful so anyone with stuttering try now the 59.9Hz workaround and post if it helped with your performance.

It will not let me change the refresh rate from 60 to 59.9.

                            Same here. Locked at 60.

Really? That's strange. I have the options of 30, 59.9 and 60. You have to be on Full Screen and not Full Screen Windowed.
