How do i delete all my gameplay setting back to default settings.

Please help guys. Ok what I did was I changed my controller settings around a bit, but now I want to change it back to the way it was. There is NO option to change the settings back to its default, which is ridiculous. I'm on steam so what I tried to do was I tried to delete my game and reinstall it back, but my game came back the exact same way.....all that dame time deleting and installing the game and it still comes back with the same settings.


Please guys, what files do I have to delete to get my game back to the default day one settings.

delete your "remote" folder from program files/steam/userdata/*****/370240. not sure about the other folder and file in "370240", though. if you want to be sure, just delete the whole "370240" folder. verify your game cache in steam afterwards.

Thank you so much. I just deleted my game AGAIN just before reading this. Now I have to wait another 20 min or so to play this dame game. Again thanks for the response


Why wouldn't 2k give us a option to change things back to their default.

Dude it did not work for me....what the hell is wrong with this game. This game always finds a way to piss me off. wow

hmm sorry that didn't work for you. you may want to close steam, delete again, and then relaunch steam.

OK now I see what happened. When I did what you told me, I then started the game and a message popped up saying "Downloading new game content" which were my old settings or profile....and that update came up every time I deleted those files. Then what I did this time when I went into the game I canceled the so called updates.....then the game started over again asking to create another profile with all the original settings....
