    laptop with Radeon R7 M265 2G VRAM

What kind of NBA 2k16 performance could I expect to receive on a laptop with one of these video cards? More specifically, will system A (below) give me good 2k16 performance? Or would I need System B?

    System A:
    Intel Core i5 4200U (1.60GHz)
    8 GB Memory
    AMD Radeon R7 M265 2 GB

    System B:
    Intel Core i5 5200U (2.20 GHz)
    8 GB Memory
    NVIDIA GeForce 940M 2 GB

    Thanks!

Added to poor 2K16's optimization, don't expect a good one with either. At least I guess you'll be playing at 768p.

dude get the <sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(158, 38, 220) inset;" id="sthz3-2" class="prxsthM42"><sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(158, 38, 220) inset;" id="sthz3-2" class="prxsthM42">940m</sth-mrk></sth-mrk>...it beats out the AMD R7 M265 enough to warrant it the choice over the AMD offering, not by a landslide but maybe 15% faster. I am a long time PC gamer, been building my own PC's since the late 90's and also i am a big time AMD fan, currently have a R9 390x for my PC...but I like to be honest when it comes to other peoples money.

      So go with the <sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(228, 0, 49) inset;" id="sthz2-0" class="prxsthM42"><sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(228, 0, 49) inset;" id="sthz2-0" class="prxsthM42">Nvidia</sth-mrk></sth-mrk> <sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(158, 38, 220) inset;" id="sthz1-2" class="prxsthM42"><sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(158, 38, 220) inset;" id="sthz1-2" class="prxsthM42">940m</sth-mrk></sth-mrk>, it has a bit more overall performance and that Intel I5 5xxx series CPU you have listed is one entire generation newer than the I5 4xxx series which that CPU will give you an extra 10% performance over the older I5 4xxx series

That laptop GPU will run NBA2k16 fine at a reasonable resolution and with decent in-game graphics settings.

Also it's pretty safe to go with a refurbished/open box laptop at Amazon as well in case you ever pondered that idea to maybe get even higher spec'd laptop...a GPU a bit faster than what you listed would be ideal in the long run but the <sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(158, 38, 220) inset;" id="sthz0-2" class="prxsthM42"><sth-mrk style="box-shadow: 0px -2px rgb(158, 38, 220) inset;" id="sthz0-2" class="prxsthM42">940m</sth-mrk></sth-mrk> will be fine for decent visual settings. Going with a refurb or open box also gives you the same factory warranty as a brand new laptop along with Amazon's warranty on top. Amazon gives every order 30 day returns no matter what ..so you always have that time to spend on the laptop to test things out.
