New NVIDIA Drivers Available
We have been working with NVIDIA to correct a driver bug on their end that was unfortunately causing a number of graphical issues (missing player/coach portraits, missing custom logos on jerseys, etc.) with NBA 2K16/17.

Oh nice, I had that bug in 2K16 since like a Month and I knew it was probably from a Driver-Update. Too bad 2K16 is dead now, but good for all the people who still play 2K16. -

However on NBA 2k17, I'm getting about 45-55 fps, with everything on high and vsync on... When I put some things on medium it gets marginally better... But I can have crowd detail on high... Also, I'd prefer to have vsync off (As I should be able to get about 100 or atleast 80 fps...
I know with vsync off you'll get higher fps, but then you get screen tearing... this happens for me...
But with vsync on I'm still getting microstutters... I should definitely be getting a clean 60 fps... Smooth... THis is not happening... I know my system specs are a lot higher than the PS4 or Xbox One...
I believe there was a patch for this last year for 2k16... Are there any solutions for 2k17 coming up soon?
2. I did notice some problems at the end of the game as well... I played a 6 minutes PRO level game, and Joel Embiid was the player of the game... however when I went to player highlights, all of the player highlights were of Joel Embiid. None of the other players had their highlights playing. If I hit another player, Embiid's highlights would show up... I'm guessing this is a bug as well...
Thanks so much!Comment

Anyone else having this problem? There are black pixels that would just flicker. This only happens in 2k17, and it flickers ingame and in the main menu, but during the intro video, there isn't flickering.

Re: New NVIDIA Drivers Available
Still not working.. I have to use the games V-sync to prevent artifacting and other strange graphical issues.. Running the game at 200 FPS+ is pointless if it doesn't behave.
I have yet to try using the control panels v-sync override... But, for now, 75 fps is more than playable.
The latest patch allows me to play in 1440p (up to 4K, don't have a 4K display) So, at we get something.Last edited by ps2king; 09-24-2016, 06:32 AM.Comment

Yeah, these didn't help stuttering or anything at all for me. The only way I can decrease lag is to play with V-Sync off and just deal with the screen tearing. At least the players move smoother than with V-Sync off, but the screen tearing makes it about as bad. It's pretty much unplayable really because another huge contributor to lag and stuttering is the crowd. Even with every other thing set to low and the crowd on low, there is a night and day difference with the crowd on and off."The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws."

IMO stuttering is created by the choppy in game v-sync. Disable it in the game and use MSI Afterburner to cap fps to 60. You won't believe the difference. If you like my work I appreciate any help: https://www.paypal.me/s3anbarkl3yComment
