I noticed that a 2K17 video thread didn't exist on here. I'm a member over at the NLSC and have been involved in PC modding since 2013. My Youtube channel has close to 1000 subscribers, but would be quite a bit more had I moved onto NBA 2K18. Did I buy 2K18? yes, do I like it as much as 2K17? not even close. I have my reasons (And there are quite a few), but this thread isn't about critiquing 2K18.
Anyway, I record my videos using ACTION! movie maker or PlaysTV. I edit them in Movavi Video Suite. My videos consist of highlights taken throughout my games in real time, and I put together the games highlights for the community to enjoy. I have well over 100 videos on my channel, and will be posting a lot of them here.
With PC modding, the opportunities are endless. Most of my videos are using my Ultimate Classic Teams roster which consists of me adding new classic teams to the game (between 15-20 new teams, which include accurate portraits/cyberfaces throughout, and include the accurate filling of default classic teams. The teams also have accurate jerseys, floors, accessories, logos, names, colors, etc. I have a friend on NLSC PeacemanNOT who is amazing with his jersey edits/creations, I use a lot of his work in this roster.
My brother and I have a MyLeague currently that consists of most of the best NBA Teams of all time. I am using the 06-07 Nuggets and he is using the 07-08 Celtics. We are about 17 games in, and we are REALLY competitive with eachother. A lot of emotion goes into our games, and the last time he played against the 05-06 Nets, I beat him in a really close game. The first video below is of the first game, the second video is of the rematch.
I was taking community requests most of last year, and it was fun. I like making the videos. Currently, I'm not really taking requests because my brother and I are deep into this season, and also playing career on AOIT. Personally, I have been playing basketball video games since the early 90's (First games were Double Dribble and Jordan vs Bird). I fondly remember my first Visual Concepts game (NBA Action 98, but I had NBA Fasbreak 98 for Playstation, which was the same game just with Midway). I've been owning all the 2K's and Live's throughout the years, I love basketball gaming.
