Anyone experience random freezing playing on PC

I started experiencing freezing issues with 2K18. This freezing ONLY happens when playing 2K. It has carried over to 2K19. I have disabled all antivirus, firewalls etc. My computer is well over the specs required.

    GTX1070 TI
    I7 8700K 3.7ghz
    16gb DDR 3200 ram
    Windows 10
    Aftermarket CPU cooler
    750 watt Power Supply

Temps are good. Nothing is overheating. Cleaned the filters which had little to no dust. However, I do see that 2K is taking up quite a bit of ram when the freezes occur.

I have the exact same specs as you, except I'm on a regular 1070, and both 2K18 and 19 (so far) have been silky smooth, no hitches at all. I'd for sure notice if there was, trust me. One thing I always do regardless of the title is tweak the settings. I personally always use full screen windowed with vsync off (I don't like the added input lag that vysnc on adds). I even drop some settings down like anti-aliasing to 2 and shadows/crowd detail/media people detail, only because I prefer the higher fps (for a smoother experience) versus barely noticable graphical differences.

Mine is freezing also. Game loads fine, start play and after a cut scene it crashes to the desktop. I haven't been able to get to halftime in a game, because of this. Don't know what the problem is, this never happened on 2K18. I have noticed 2K19 takes a lot more resources to run, although my computer is a gaming one, with top notch hardware.

I assume you already have, but double check your drivers. An outdated GPU driver can cause some odd issues.

Side note, how is the 8700K? My 5820K just died, so I need to upgrade.

8700K is a beast of a CPU and will treat you well for many years.

Any suggestions for a motherboard? Not looking for anything crazy. After my CPU died, I made a server using spare parts, so all of my media drives are out of my main PC. I just need something that will be reliable. The only things I'll have in there now are my M.2 OS drive, SSD for games (may add a second SSD in the future for more games), and my GPU. ATX or mATX are both fine, and would ideally have built-in bluetooth (as long as it's reliable).

I’m using a Z370 Asrock Taichi and I have enjoyed it. Lots of good MoBos out there. Hit up Toms Hardware Mobo section and you can figure out your price/performance ratio.

                I use the same motherboard.

But the reason I'm commenting on this old thread is because the problem persists. I'm almost certain its a 2K issue because it happens on WWE 19 as well.

Yes, especially late in the game. Not often but it does happen when coming back from pause menu.

I have not had any freezing issues with something like 154 hours played on steam.

Are you running a Hardware monitor while playing?
