    Player Age Problem

Though, boy is it a hilarious problem.

    Spoiler

I'm not sure if anybody notices, but as far as 2k16 and 2k17 are concerned, it keeps player ages up-to-date. Which means you have a forty year old Kobe in the 2015-2016 season when he was a few years younger at the time. I haven't found any substantial fixes for this, so I was wondering what everyone's thoughts on this were?

Kind of make MyLeague simulation problematic.

Thank you! Wow, I thought I was going crazy....I just downloaded 2K16 on Steam and I'm like, "why is Mike Dunleavy 42 years old? This game is five years ago!"

Wow, that's dumb. Another reason I hate all this "connectivity".

Seems to be the fix I've found is to literally change your PC clock to the year the game came out in. That's a bit annoying, but yeah.

Lol, so simple I didn't even think of it. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] It's annoying but MUCH easier than manually editing ages! Because after my first season like half the league retired! Thank God there's a workaround.

I'm more amused that this issue is either one 2K didn't realize or directly ignored on purpose.

If you're on PC you need the Linmono tool, then change retired year to 0.. For example Kobe retired in 2016, so 2ks math adjusts to reflect that, but if you remove the retired year in Linmono tool, and change Kobe's birth year to 1978, he'll be 41 in game.
