The official NBA Live 06 site is up and it features the features of the game, a video(I think it is the same one from IGN), and new screens not seen on IGN.

They look good. The only thing I haven't liked about the last few Live's is the herky jerky animations

ehhh. they should know better. spurs wear nike dri-fit style jerseys, the kind where no jersey mesh is apparent. (with that style of material, they dont shine, if AT ALL. in the screens, there just ugly). same with Miami's jerseys. The jersey mesh(holes) aren't apparent.

Honestly, it's weird that I have no clue what you're talking about with drift stuff RB. Please explain more. Jerseys are decent to me anyhow. Hate the zombie eyes/facial expressions. I honestly see it looking better, but it's still behind a bit. It does look tight though from the screen. Plus there is more than one player so I'm sure that it is more than likely this grapically sharp. We'll see though. Upclose pictures are totally different from gameplay pics. We'll definitely see....

not all jerseys have mesh holes u can see...altho the spurs alt uniform does shine...*ew*

basically the mesh holes are too big... some teams have jerseys with fine mesh... not a HUGE deal. but videogames have gotten it right before. (t-wolves have normal mesh with holes apparent. while the spurs have fine meshing.)

I understand that. I honestly didn't pick all that up. I knew a few jerseys were off but I usually don't worry about it all that much. Still, I guess I agree?!! Get the jerseys right playas. Still, they don't look all that bad. It's still early. That's the answer....

The problem lies in the fact that most of these games get "new graphic engines" yearly and they have to rebuild all the jersey fabrics and materials. They were right in live 2005... I guess its just more frustrating than anything else looking at these early screens and seeing mistakes that weren't there last year.... it looks and seems like zero graphical progress is made.

Man, I know some of the faces are a bit off and what not, but I think the graphics look a ton better this year. I had to double check and make sure I wasn't looking at 2k graphics here, because EA actually made muscle definition apparent this year, along with what appears to be just an overall sharper look. It almost looks like a new engine. Hell, maybe it is, I haven't read much about it yet (been too busy checking out football). Anyway, I think it all looks pretty good...
