Also, don't worry about your favorite player getting snubbed and not getting chosen as one of the designated "Superstars" -- EA assures us players will be able to set which NBA stars have these abilities. So while it may seem odd to give Greg Ostertag more moves than Tim Duncan, you'll have that option.

Still no mention of teams utilizing their (real life playbooks & sets). This is something that both the NBA2K series and the Live series needs to work on tremendously....

I think that the playbook thing is something that is just needed but neither game has learned that. Ironically, I played NBA Inside Drive to find out that it was beautiful with following book plays and things. Only thing that might kill following a playbook is the A.I. not thinking about branching out from a play. If the A.I. just runs along the play and doesn't adjust to situations, then that just might kill the whole game right there. Maybe that's one thing they're considering. They may give us that taste of glory during the next generation of consoles. It's almost as anticipated in my mind as anything else.

yea, fasho.....it would kill da game badly.....cuz it'll start gettin cheesy.....the running the same plays and just reacting stupidly to how the defense guards them, because.....well, they are really tryin to get that play through

I recall some of these developers having some interview speaking in terms of depth of games. They don't want to make it too difficult for those who are casual gamers and therefore turn us off. I only wish they'd try that mess for one year. Just make the game so good that we have a hard time playing the game. I want complexity. It's almost like I have to dumb myself down to play the game. Just isn't fun anymore with the depth and challenge that I need. I guess I'm just getting older. Sucks....
