    Official Release Date...........

    Just spoke with game stop and they're reporting the release date for September 26th. Price still to be announced
    I always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific!

      Isn't that like a week before 2k? Just wondering because I have day to day calenders.

      I remember last year EA pushed the game up one week before 2k, this is why I love two companies to duel it out over sales instead of one company just eliminating the other.

          actually for whatever reasons, both games were released on the same day. Both weeks way before the first initial "posted release date"

              Yep, now that I think about it you are right. Because I remember having to debate to myself wheter to get Live or NBA 2k5. I decided to get Live first, but then I got NBA 2k5 the next day so meh.

              But I hope they are not rushing it out to stores, then we get these little annoying stat bugs and franchise bugs that were overlooked.

                  I think that both companies might have a better hold on how they get those bugs out the games. VC increased their team size, EA better structured their team plan.

                      Don't be suprised if one or both games are released before Sept. 26th. This year EA shipped MVP baseball a week before the schedule release date and VC responded by shipping MLB 2k5 immediately afterwards.

                      By the time Sept comes around both games should be completely finished I wouldn't worry about any bugs due to early releases. The sooner the better as far as im concerned.
