Not to mention they have the shoe deals, latest jerseys & throwbacks, dunk contest, three-point contest, and a good editor for the players. I'm kind of urging to get up on this game to see how well it plays.

oh you mean all that crap that adds and means NOTHING to the actual gameplay?, ya they got alot of that. I seen this game in actual gameplay form and it looks to be like NBA LIVE 05 meshed up with NBA STREET gameplay mechanics. Is ea doing this because Street is the only b-ball game that most that hate nba live care about?, hmmmm i wouldn't put it pass them.Comment

Re: Why is this 49.99?
Originally posted by Behindshadows2It recently changed at Gamestop as well to $39.99. EA started to get greedy at first, because they are EA and Live is Live....even at $50 it will sale, because tons of people love live. Its in the name. But I think they second guessed themselves with NBA 2k6 coming at $29.99 so I guess they dropped $10 to be on the safe side...
Oh i see, well i guess Take Two is at it again, making EA do something they probably never wanted to do. I wonder if 2k6 will go down to 19.99, to get EA mad.Comment

Re: Why is this 49.99?
I am really biased towards game pricing so I will always criticise game prices. EA should lower their sports games to $30 because most are all rehashes with very few improvements. But overall I think all games should be AT MOST $30. I like the method 2k sports is taking, but will their game be any good? lol
I got tired of nba live 2005 since it was the same game over and over against different teams. What's new in 2006?
Oh and that shaq dunk over tmac sure looks real to me! lolComment

Originally posted by JOEdellisYou seen the videos?, it looks like 2005 with semi better visuals and some nba street type gameplay mechanics( dubbed "superstars" or whatever is called). I really wanted to get this but after seeing gameplay videos, it just doesn't seem like EA really put alot of input into this, obviously next gen live is the one getting the most input. I wouldn't put it past EA if their trying to make a quick buck with this live 2005.5, then dropping the true live 06.Originally posted by JOEdellisoh you mean all that crap that adds and means NOTHING to the actual gameplay?, ya they got alot of that. Thats just rediculous...People like you are what keeps EA holding back on improvements...You keep supporting the crap they produce and they will never evolve or improve anything. That comment is just sad. That you don't want the EA franchise to do better when it comes to the sport. I mean back on PS1 and Even the Genesis, SNES days....Live was fun. Now that EA is so big headed they have slipped off a few rocks and continue to give shakey and shady games.
Pumping out $50 for a not so changed game is terrible...Like $50 for Madden 2005.5, I'm sorry 06. Is a perfect Example...Comment

Re: Why is this 49.99?
The crap EA produces? What about the crap 2k produces? The T.O. bug in 2k5... the created player's hair... the weak ''isomotion2'', the list goes on.
Live 2005 wasn't perfect and I lost faith in both EA and 2k for basketball... this year I'll stay away from basketball game. Unless people here reports that 2k6 has 0 game killer. (2k5 had many)Comment
