I see a heck of a lot of potential in this game. I'm interested in getting it. I'll just have to reduce the passing rating for Luke so he isn't a superstar. Also, I'll have to up the collision and tone down the dunking a bit. Freaking Danny was hilarious how he was dunking like he was Amare. Almost like he took what ever Amare brought on the court. When was the last time Danny dunked? I can't even say that I ever seen him dunk the ball EVER!! There were some sweet moves under the basket though. Those passes are ridiculous but the computer used their stuff in moderac ironically. I liked how the computer played. That was on easy too right? I'll be getting this game. Probably a few months later on down the line when it goes down to its "proper" price in comparison to its competition. Or maybe someone would have one on ebay. Oh my goodness, it's looking better than I thought....

Same thing I was thinking, while I agree that they haven't changed the game, their were some improvements, and too many people are complaining about what the USER did. The computer wasn't throwing fancy passes all around the place, or running the break with a big man, and they were in easy. I don't think the computer even had a dunk in the game, I can't remember, I deleted the videos.

If they actually have playcalling, and maybe if you can actually use screens off the ball, the game has promise.

As far as Danny Fortson, the thing is CPU controlled or not, he shouldn't be able to keep up with Luke Ridnour on the break. He's just not that fast.

The thing about the stadium lighting is also awful. That arena is entirely too dark for SEA. If Im not mistaken, there arent that many dark arenas in the NBA from jumpstreet.

Like I said, I cannot stomach another iteration upgrade of the same game. Maybe Madden fans can continue to do it, but this has gotten out of hand.

EA has the most resources, most likely the most hands, and has had the most time at this. With the way they can manipulate animations, you'd think they could be more creative and come up with something more than the same thing every year sans a new dunk or pass.

Like CV said, why no running off screens to catch the ball and shoot? Why is something as simple as that never added?

Dont give me a speech about little Johnny either, because my money is just as important as the next guys. Thing is, IGN wont bash Live like they did 2K for Shaq not banging down low.

the videos look fine to me- i can't wait for the game.

i don't understand the 2k fans. they come in here just to dog NBA Live. i think 2k is the biggest piece of garbage on the planet, but i don't go watch videos of it and go into the 2k forums and tell everyone how terrible i think it is. what's the point? i know i don't like it, so i keep it to myself. what a novel concept!

Exactly my point. You can accept and continue to give EA your money for throwing out stagnant versions of the game, but I want to see improvements. Im sorry.

This is where you're wrong. I could understand if I came in here and said, OH THIS GAME SUCKS... but Im a consumer, and I give them my hard earned money.

That kind of thinking is the reason why Live has player models that look like overgrown babies, and they still wont add real plays, all the while wooing people like you with gimmicks..

I'l leave it there, but get ready to be eaten alive for that post you just made.

KDRE has the right to not like the game nobody can tell him not to post because he doesnt like the game. with a few adjustments and a harder difficulty this game could be pretty good the dynasty is all that is left. im gonna get both

KDRE is the biggest Live ***** on the planet so even if the game was PERFECT he would be hating.

but yeah... the videos show a lot of potential... the COMPUTER plays the game the right way (the user doesnt but who cares??? we can control that)

once the difficulty is bumped to superstar i'm sure the defense will be more reactive and less idiotic. but the passes looked nice, and the fast breaks are back (unlike in '05) and the main thing is the defense is more loose than last year (last years the defense was stuck to you like glue so you had to use picks to get open OR the cheesy spin move which i hope got toned down)

i think if the user played a "sim" style. u guys would be like wow this game is NICE.

but u forget, he is tryin to show off the freestyle passin in the videos. he clearly states that in the article..
did u guys miss that or somethin???

stop hating seriously. all i see is 2k fans on Live boards flaming every topic. its sad. i dont see Live fans flaming 2k6 for the bullet pass alley oops and Richard Jefferson lookin white and like a toothpick

but back to Live, cant wait for it!!! must get.

but i think you are all missing the GREAT thing about these videos.

someone stated it looks easy as hell to score.. GREAT

in '05 every team played defense like the Detriot Pistons/San Antonio Spurs and it was a JOKE.

it looks like this year bad defensive teams will be just that...

i mean face it guys the Sonic and Suns ARE BAD defenses. the Sonics D is bad.. and the Suns defense is horrendous.

also i liked the new animations, looks mad fun. isnt Fun what counts? hmmm.

I know ima bit late but are you kidding me, Last Year all i had to do was use the rockets and it was a guanrantee 70 points on any team with mcgrady it's to easy to score in live i've never seen any team stop me or my friends and mind you i play in superstar the only way they could stop you is having that fake bump and even that way i would score.

well 1st day Live '06 comes out we can play online and see if you can drop 70 on me

and also, if u shoot ONLY with T-mac then yeah u can score 70 with him. but that goes for any game really. i could score 100 with Ray Allen on any 2k game if i shot it with him every time.. but thats lame so why do that. i dont play like that.

and T-Mac scored 62 in a game in real-life.. which i think is the most by any active player. so.. yeah. lol

i have both games from last year and live was better, but this year looks like it's gonna 2k they actually went and changed something

live is just about gimmicks and not basketball, hopefully the xb360 is basketball and not gimmicks
