The videos of scorers and shooters make me want to like the game but when I watch the actual gameplay vids it looks like it plays the same as years past but with better graphics. If that is the case I think I will pass on this even though D Wade is on the cover. I think I'll wait to get the 360 version because this gen's version still looks like it plays like a dunkfest. Anyone ever wonder why the scale or size of the court appears so small? Just wondering.

Only one complaint/observation so far... there are SOOOOOOO many cool offensive moves, whether its from the triple threat position or on the fly while dribbling... but what is there to counter all of this stuff defensively? Every human vs/ human or human vs/ CPU video Ive seen its been a offensive shootout.

I dont know what to believe right now... those videos looked sweet and then you see real human vs cpu and human vs human gameplay and its just stale and just blah...

Okay, I was really starting to doubt this years game, but after reading the scorers article I am being drawn back in. There are just so many options.

Miles, the most questionable aspect of it for me is how the CPU uses those moves.... is it way too often? not often enough? is it done with the right players? a question that may only be answered when we have the game in hand, and get to play 40-50 games, before we see a "trend"

this is how i see it the on easier levels the amount of cool moves that are done in game all depend on the user so if you dont want so much off those fancy passes and things like that you up the diffuculty and play the game the way you want its all about user control the CPU uses it but not as often

I'll tell ya what's missing- the net animation and the rim are simply horrible!

I know, but when reading the text, it is exciting reading about all of those moves. If the CPU does not use them or overuses, then it will probably ruin the game. I was just concerned watching all those vids with players doing all of these passes on all most every pass that don't even happen in an NBA game, cept for the behind the back. I was open-minded about the freestyle superstars when it was first announced, but with most of the recent vids, I was beginning to think that this game was going to the dogs, but this article had a lot of good things in it, and if it is pulled off right, it could make it a great game. I really like that they put in the up-and-under move. It is one of my personal favorites, and will add depth to the post game.

wow this game is gonna have a big learning curve.. remembering all these moves for each set of players.. but once we get over that it'll be way worth it
