I spent the better part of 2 hours with it and really like it. The way I look at it, If you didn't see or feel the changes in madden this year you won't with live. If you did, you'll probably really like the changes. The pacing is different too. I tried dominating with freestyle superstar moves and on superstar level it's pretty challenging. Playing as the heat vs det. they made adjustments to wade and shaq when I took turns dominating quarters with each. They sent the double much faster and the superstar moves didn't allow me to change that... my 2 cent

Sounds awesome! Now I wish there were Gamespots in Canada, so I could try it out for myself.

Keep the impressions coming though.

its not only at gamestop its also at EbGames..

i was playing it yesterday during my work break..like the first poster said,it has great new animations..i seen nash split the double team then throw a nice oop to amare..i luv all the new animations,the graphics are like normal,not the best but i can deal w/ them w/o bashing them...theres only 4 Teams...Suns,Spurs,Heat and Pistons..i dont know what that lyin kid said about the Rockets..incase he has "connections"....it was only on the Ps2 Version when i play'd...i didnt play long enough to see if it was Team Specific Styles..i 'do' know when i play'd verse the Suns,there was no Pick N Rolls(i had it on Pro @ First)...involving nash n'd amare,it was mostly fast breaks,split the d,and dunking..it play'd Suns vs Pistons(i was the pistons) and then i switched to superstar and play'd Heat vs. Spurs..when i play'd against the spurs,i was messing up trying to do everything w/ wade instead of giving shaq his touches..and parker and ginobli was torching me..despite parker making alot of turnovers(behind the back passes),he still had nice drives to the basket..other than animations the game was similar to last yr.

i dunno if i'm getting it on current gen..i may just wait it out 4 the 360,not because of the game but because 360 Bundles cost tons,and i cant keep wasting work money thats suppose to b for next gen on current gen...i'll probly rent it and then save up til 360....

Saint's Row is launching wit the Xbox 360 and it looks like it may actually give GTA a run for its money....especially since its launchin wit da next gen system

nah, it will fall flat on its face, just like the other GTA wannabe games.

I also played the live demo at gamestop but was not impressed. I will just wait to see what the 360 version has to offer.

Besides the obvious which is the graphics. I found it too easy to do alley oops. It just didnt feel like a real nba game. It felt like streetball.

From what I've been reading, I think that may have to do with the default difficulty level in the demo. I'm pretty sure that's the case.

i think any game can be played like streetball....if nba players play lax defense there are lobs all day...like in the all star game. And you can set the difficulty in the demo...maybe because I was playing it on superstar....

I actually went to see if i could make the game harder but it was already on superstar.
