I really like what they're doing...ie, trying to legitimately 'differentiate' the players. This *should* make each game unique...along with the play books.

      I am sold.

Thanks Wally. This is a very good breakdown. Glad they didn't give these moves to every single player in the league. It will definitely influence the way you play Defense. I think this may turn out to be a very good idea. It really balances out/justifies/legitimizes the player ratings. Now maybe players rated in the 80s can't perform like players rated 95+.

Initially, I thought every player could use the Playmaker.

No, no, they have to have the sufficient rating to be able to do the moves lol. Why would they make it stupid like that. Redd can only be a shooter, he can't be an inside scorer, highflyer, power player, or any kinda of stopper.

If you wanted Redd to be a highflyer, you can change his dunk rating to 80 or something, but then it's not realistic anymore, you're just being dumb then lol

You could maybe make him an outside scorer, then you'd probably have to increase his primacy rating...

I think they made a mistake on the highflyer list.

You'd expect to see Steve Francis, Vince Carter, etc etc, I think it's just the insdie and outside stoppers list, but then again, where's Emeka Okafor? Or Bruce Bowen

              SHOOTERS:
              Brent Barry
              Voshon Lenard
              Peja

Reggie Miller? I'm pretty sure he's retired...

I also agree, you'll need to add Wally for his mid-range game [he can hit three's, but he doesn't take enough, only when very open], Matt Bonner, Steve Nash, Dirk, etc etc.

I don't think the lists have all the players though, cause look:

              PLAY MAKERS:
              Rafer Alston
              Luke Ridnour
              Tony Parker
              Mike Bibby
              Stephon Marbury
              jason Kidd
              jason williams
              jamal tinsley
              Steve nash
              Kirk Hinrich
Their's no way you have Hinrich, Parker, Ridnour, and Alston, and not have Baron Davis. Also from other stuff they showed, I think Wade was a playmaker too even...

Guys I am sure that what is on the list is not the only ones in the category. I think it was just giving ex of each. I remember from the early vids that Carter was a high flyer.
Here is another vid I found nothing much just dynasty stuff.

I think he can be an outside stopper because he can steal, and he's a farly good defender, but like I said, the highflyer list is not correct.

Yea, that's the same one they had on I think IGN. The stats look promising. If you look at Marion in the finals, or playoffs or whatever, he averaged 13.9 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 1.27 BPG, 1.45 SPG, and 1.7 APG in 23 MPG.

If he was playing 40 minutes, thats: 24.2 ppg, 13.4 rpg, 2.2 bpg, 2.5 spg, 3.0 apg, the blocks are a little high, but outside of that, it's good. Amare's scoring was dissapointing though, but with the right ratings, it looksl ike PPG can work out. Now they just have to get players going to the line more than an average of 5-6 times a game.

Garnett realistically would be an inside scorer, maybe outside too, a stopper, and I think highflyer or power player, one of the 2. Maybe he has everything except playmaker, who knows lol.
