How will NBA Live 2006 handle College Imports?

Alternatively, for that matter, will NBA Live 2006 have the option to import the March Madness 2006 Draft Class Roster?

For whatever reason this functionality was removed from last years version of NBA Live and for those who love the College and Professional Game, the ability to import rosters between games is important and bring a lot of ‘value ad’ to basketball videogames.

Nope neither game (2K or Live) will have draft class imports. I've seen screenshots of Live that shows the generated rookies.

Basically since both games have in-season recruiting, it would be kinda hard to implement a draft class. Unless you can somehow import the draft class before the season started..

You sure about 2K? Sega has always had the option of drafting players from College Hoops 2K* over to NBA2K*

2 years ago you could import March Madness 04 Players over to Live 04 but was not a feature for the 05 games.

Unlike the other people, I won't be so quick to dismiss your "opinion" about what either game has. Ironically, I'm curious to know if either game can do the import draft classes. That's one of the main reasons I picked up the college games for 2K. I'm pretty sure that VC has a solid idea on how to implement it into the game while allowing us to scout them fellaz during the year. Not holding my breath. Also, pretty sure that EA focuses on their college game also. I think the lack of being able to import players into the pro title hurta lot of their sales last year. Not holding my breath for either game though....

well if 2k cant import rosters theres no use for me buyin college hoops that the ONLY reason i ever get college games , ea tricked me into buyin march madness last year too

What does in-season recruiting have to do with importing the players. You can do it in NCAA football 06 and Madden and NCAA has in-season recruiting.

They're not talking about a college game. They are talking about the NBA game. The only way that would be possible is if you were to import your draft class immediately before you start your season. Even then, it wouldn't be possible. But, what would be cool is if you could scout players during the season, not knowing whether or not they are going to enter the NBA Draft.

2 years ago you could import March Madness 04 Players over to Live 04 but was not a feature for the 05 games.

You could? I have Live 04, and I can't do that. If you can, please let me know how.
