The CPU's AI on Fastbreaks is sick

Ok now I'm really shocked. I'm playing my second game against the Rockets tonight again using my Mavs. Yao gets a rebound then kicks out to T-Mac who brings the rock up he then delivers a pass to Sura and I rotate over and Sura sends a perfect bounce pass to Stromile Swift who was running free all alone and throws it down with force.....

The CPU ran a perfect 3 on 2 fastbreak. McGrady attacked the middle liek you are suppose to then he found Sura on the wing as Terry committed to Sura he delivered the pass to Swift in perfect court spacing.....

DAMN you EA why couldn't this have been in 05 aswell.

Yeah the fast breaks are beautifuly set up by the computer. I play with player lock and I was Melo of the Nuggets...We were on a 3 on 2 fast break and I spotted up in the corner near the 3 point line and Boykins set it up perfeclty and passed it to me for the wide open 3 on the break. It looked smooth.

The fastbreaks are actually very good in this game. You will also do an automatic alley-oop on 2 v 1 fastbreaks if you have the right lane, looks very, very nice.

This is the reason why I have decided to hold off on getting 2k. Have you guys bought it, if so do you like it?

I bought 2K6 instead of Live. Let's just say I'm trying awfully hard to like it. The isomotion controls kind of get in the way. Maybe I need more time with the game. It is very "sim" for sure, but at this point it's not very fun to play.

OK SJ I've figured out about 6 play sets now. I posted in the impression thread how I'm going to get them assigned to each team. It will be pretty much like last year accept that we know have more plays to assign to the stud players on each team.

Last year this would have been awesome for Phoenix since they had like 4 scorer's. Now, I can spread the plays around more evenly and the CPU does an even better job this year if the play breaks down. They immediatley cycle to a quick play or call ISO to get the top player the ball if the shot clock is winding down. I saw Houston cycle from a DOUBLE BACK SCREEN into an ISO for T-MAC because the play broke down.

EA really added great spacing and motion this year.

man I am absolutely amazed at how much of an improvement Live 06's fastbreaking is compared to 2005's...

Only problem with live I have is that I have been playing the PS2 version, and the graphics are simply UGLY!! I can't wait until the 360 version of this game, it will be damn near perfect...
