Someone I was playing online brought to my attention the "flickshot." Where the shooter releases too early and flicks the ball towards the hoop. Should be an ugly shot, right? Nope. It's money 80% of the time. Even higher from midrange and with just about anybody on the court.
Get just outside the lane and flick the ball up with Nate Robinson, with Tim Duncan in his face...no problem. Swish. You can't block it. Get in their face and they still make it.
I heard the same problem was in last year's March Madness.
Tried to change the settings. Turned the difficulty to superstar, fatigue at 50. Still happened. Shaun Livingston, who can't shoot in the first place, could barely walk he was so tired, yet he was still draining 3's left and right and poppin' those 15 footers.
Since I play mostly online, this absolutely blows. At least offline you can adjust the sliders, but online play is totally trashed. Get two sim guys together and you can try to avoid it, but it'll still pop up. Need a bucket with 4 seconds to go? What are you going to go for? Flickshot.
Defenite gamekiller for me.
Oh sweet, sweet EA...why did you ruin such a good game...
