Franchise Questions???
Every1,Anyone who has played the game,
please help out with answers to these questions about the franchise mode: During the offseason, what type of contracts can be awarded? Are there mid-level and low-level exceptions? Is it true to the form of the NBA that only a handful of teams are under the cap? Is it like the old games where the best players sign one-year minimum contracts and then re-sign for big dollars or do they really sign big contracts in the first place?
Are all players interested in your team? Are is it possible that certain players simply will not want to sign with your team? Is it challenging to get players or can you get pretty much anyone you want?
Can you get fired as a general manager?
Do coaches quit or move on to other teams without you firing them?
Also, give me a run down of the offseason - what happens first and then next and after that? Is the draft first and then re-signing your own players and then free agents?
Basically how realistic is the offseason? What from the real NBA is missing and what cool features are available? Please answer as many of my questions as possible.
