    Disappointing Franchsie/Stats overlay

I again am disappointed at the Franchise mode. I can't belive nothing has changed except for stupid assistant coaches. How about?

1). allowing trades before the draft and free agent signing? I have to wait? it is now impossilbe to ever trade up in the draft. I now have to anticapate my trade before the trading deadline or wait until after i have completed everything in the off season. this is a joke.

    2). allowing mid level exemptions.

3). every team is over the cap so trading is impossible.

4). player awards like madden. being able to view a player and see his history. mvp, defensive player, rings, etc. like ID 2004.

5). resigning players during the year. now..impossible.

6). how hard would be it for it to show the players stats during the game?

7). how about team stats overlay? FG%, rebounds, blocks?

I enjoy live's gameplay but i am thinking to switch to 2K.

You also can't re-sign your players during the season in 2K6 too which is puzzling indeed. At least you can trade before the draft and stuff.

Not every team is over the cap. And anyway, if a team is above the cap in REAL LIFE they'll have some problems with trades. The Charlotte "glitch" (how else can I describe it?) is still in there and there are several other teams below the cap. Yeah, you still need a caculator to figure out the contracts, but trading is far from "immpossible". I've just made it to the trading deadline with the Knicks ($55 mil over the cap) and have pulled off quite a few trades.

I really have no idea what you're talking about.

So you can trade with a team over the cap? Or you are over the cap as long as it is w/in 20% of each other. That is what i am talking about.

And secondly do you think it is realistic not to be able to trade until after the free agent, draft, etc. this is stupid.

Of course you can trade with a team over the cap. The total of salaries on each side have to match up, or be within 20% of eachother plus or minus 200k. This is the same way it is in real life. Just get out your calculator (yes, I know they should have a salary meter) and add up the total salary when you're trading.

And of course not being able to trade until the off-season is over stinks, but that's not the part of the post to which I replied.
