Re: Post you favorite camera view. (360)
I used Press Cam this past weekend for head to head play. It worked out great. I think this is the best camera for gameplay overall in NBA Live. It gives you a view of most of the court and action and flat out makes the game look better.
I know some guy's might not like this view initially but after a few games it will grow on you and the action will look much clearer as if your watching an NBA telecast view.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Post you favorite camera view. (360)
I know alot of people don't like the broadcast cam. However I played with it last night and thought it was pretty good. Yeah the cam does change when the ball is in a certain area. However you can adjust. Also it seems that the plays are ran a little better on the view and the game seems to run faster. I was just curious why people don't like it?Comment

Re: Post you favorite camera view. (360)
From what I've heard, it's because the game zooms in on akward things. For example, if the ball is on the rim, it will zoom in to the ball, and lose track of everything else. I've yet to get my game, but hopefully tomorrow...Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Post you favorite camera view. (360)
Originally posted by sirjamThat's not necessarily true. However it does zoom in if you pass to a certain wing or sometime in the post. I don't think its unplayable, you just have to get used to it. I do think its the easiest to play d on this view and as I said the game might play a little better on this view. As far as speed and movements. Ea definetely wanted us to play on this view.
It's just not playable though IMO. It's fun for a game or two, but there's just too many spots (right corner pocket etc) where you can't see the hoop / can't see the defender.
The cameras, overall, are proof positive this game was rushed. Even on press cam, there are times during fast breaks where the player off down court isn't on the screen...the CPU is set to lay it up sometimes and the CAM hasn't even caught up.
There's just no doubt at all in mind that this game wasn't finished...which is a shame as it has so much else going for it / potential.
As much as I'm enjoying it...it's just really hard to recommend it to people / friends as EA really are selling a late BETA for full price.
If you can get it cheap like Gilateen and Will...grab a copy by all meansComment

Re: Post you favorite camera view. (360)
Sideline / height 3 / zoom 10 gives you a pretty nice 'on court' feel and really let's you see plays run very well / detail.
Worth a tryComment

Side note: Have you found it difficult to play 2k6 now that you have seen the level of detail that the stadiums have in live, and are missing in 2k. Also the crowd makes it hard not to play live, they are just so into the game it seems. 2k not as much.Comment

Originally posted by sirjamI will give it a try. I know what you mean about the right corner pocket thing. However I found if you hesitate just a second it adjusts so you can see. I tried the press and baseline but press makes it so hard to play transition d, and base is to far away. Those are the two reasons why I used the broadcast last night.

Kind of frustrating as it's the most 'playable' one IMO.
I may try broadcast again and take your advice
Re 2K6 definitely...when I play that, I miss the "feel" of actually being in an NBA arena / crowd noises being absolutely brilliant..."threeeeeeeee" etc / home crowd going crazy when on a run.
When I play LIVE, I do miss the better movement and play sets in 2K...and the shot stick, which I love.
Actually, the plays and movement in LIVE is pretty good...but they move soooooooooo slowly. I call a motion play, SG to go to hoop then cut back to 3pt line...and they really just 'walk' the whole play out.
Still fun to call plays...but takes some getting used to.Comment
