Not able to sign players during dynasty mode

Everytime i play dynasty mode, i try to sign a minimum contract player when someone gets injuried and it always comes up not enough cap room or not interested in offer....i would set it below 1 mil and it still says im over the cap...how the hell can i not sign anyone to my team...is this a bug or what...btw this is xbox version if that means anything

You can't sign anyone that puts you over the cap period. i don't think there is any type of exception rule. the best thing is to trade with a team with cap space like atlanta. unload some salary and then sign a free agent.

of course in season 2 and after every team is over the space so you can't do this.

I've had this same problem and been unable to find out how to fix it. I have enough cap room. I tried to sign a free agent, and the first time it said that there would be no room for the player to play, even though I only had 11 players on the roster. Then it asked for more money, then more years. Despite everything I tried, I couldn't sign the FA.

if you have cap space you should be able to do this. you are doing something wrong.

when you say 11 players does that mean you really have 12 and one is injured? if so, you need to release someone first to get you to 11 total. then sign a guy.
