Foul Shooting possible?

Is it possible to get foul shooting to normal percentage,I am 0-41 in 4 games played. I tried different ways to make a free throw. I am currently deciding if i should keep the game because of this. I have 2k6 and having no problem there.

I know it isn't the answer that you're looking for, but you really have to concentrate and practice your freethrows. After learning how to hit them, I think it's the greatest FT mechanics yet.

Just make your motion extremely fluid, just like you would at the real free throw stripe. Pull down, until the ball gets pulled back to around his ear, and without stopping, push back up a little bit quicker than you pulled down.

The result should be a made free throw. It was discouraging at first, but now, I love it.

It's going to take time and patience my man.

I hated this system about 2 weeks ago. But now I'm shooting about 65-70% and that's with FT Difficulty at 75. I wanted to rip the game in half at first because of this but it is pretty realistic after you get the hang of it.

I feel your pain though because I was in your situation not too long ago regarding the system.

i push back all the way until the ball reaches my players head, then i push all the way up.

This is the same way i ashoot the free throws, you have to concentrate and when it is at the players forehead, you go back up. I like the style because the other way was soo easy I use to shoot like 98-100% now im around 78-82% which is pretty realistic. I also hold the analog differently wehn shooting foul shots...seems to help, as i struggles when holding it normally.

Once in a while during the game, in the lower right hand corner of the screen, while your player goes through his free throw routine, there is a graphic of a "right analog stick" that shows you the rhythm you should use while shooting. I watched it for a couple seconds, then tried to copy it exactly, and honestly didn't miss a free throw for 3 games straight, including with Shaq.

I'd keep my eye open for that graphic if I were you, it helps a ton...

Thing is after the graphic comes up, it never comes back.

I lose every game at the line, 11/53 in my season using PM sliders. I even knocked the FT slider down to 55 and still can make a FT.

Might try 25 and see if that helps until you get the hang of it.

after 3 days with this game foul shooting has become mch easier im actaully making them at a high percentage now.

Turn your slider down a little but when you move the stick, you have to be quick and smooth with it. No pauses , just down and up. That works for me anyway, don't think about it, just do it.

One thing I like about the Free Throws is that it's realistc!! When U can play a B-ball game that can give U a Nervousness such as Sweaty palms being at the Free Throw line or the fact that Ur Shaq and U got to win the game by shooting free throws with him is one of the most realistic immersions I experience in a video game!!
