Re: Players running speed.
It's better on the higher speeds but if you want the game to play more SIM it's best to stick with the lower speeds and adjust to the players.
Reason one is because it will turn into a fastbreak barrage all game on higher speeds. The CPU will take twice as many quick shots as they would on normal DEFAULT or lower speeds.
I've adjusted so it doesn't bother me as much as it used to initially. I also looked at the speed of the 360 version and watched the regular Live version on PS2 and basically the speed of the players at DEFAULT is compatible to the regular version of Live for PS2 if you lowered the gamepseed down to 40-45 which is what most guy's were doing in order to slow the game down for those who purchased Live on XBOX or PS2.
I think that the reason why it's so noiceablt is become of past NBA LIve games the speed use to be hockey pace right out the box compared to this Live. EA basically did what we've always done in the regular versions tone down the speed. They might have over did it a little this year but I've found on Press camera that it doesn't seem to run that slow for some reason.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Players running speed.
Thanks for the reply Pro.
I may get used to it as it is, in fact, I am already running the game speed at 40 because I thought it did something else. I just assumed the speed represented how much space was between when a player got the ball and when they shoot etc. and if you increased it, or moreso the pace of the action, not necessarily the speed of anything and if you lowered it, the spaces would be compressed (if you get what I'm saying).
It just seems to me that a player should be able to run full speed and they jog at best.Gamertags
