Help me stop the 3 ball!!!

Im playing this kid who always runs the pistons, I always run the spurs. I like to play a sim style, share the ball, run plays ect. This kid just runs down and shoots the three almost every single time with billups. The horrible part is that his style is effective. He ends up hitting around 45-50% no matter what I do, even on superstar.I always switch up bowen on billups, but that doesnt slow him. I will bring in horry, and double....doesnt matter. I get good timing he hits it or he sits there and pumps and waits till I finally jump, and then draws the foul. He misses, one of the wallaces rebounds. Hell, even when I got billups in foul trouble in the first period, hunter came in and ended up with 49 for the game, hes not even a great shooter in the game. Anybody got a solution?

Yeah dont play 2K6 on line it gets even worse with Billups, I think sim turns to arcade sliders on line. Pick a team other than the Spurs, a run and gun team and give him a taste of what the rock iz cookin. I run with the Bucks and if Mo Williams, Bobby Simmons and Redd is on it's over.
