I ended up losing for the record 88-83, E.Curry made me happy at least with 10pts and 11boards. This game even has Q.Rich's shooting style.....nice touch. Any help on this fellas???????

Playmakers/Court Vision/WTF.......question
Aiight I know u three play Live alot and Im starting to get into much more than b4. I use playmakers sliders and playsets but have not did the editing to players because I dont wanna invest so much time in this. Here is my question/problem: I just finished a game btween Golden St and Knicks, i was NY. In the first half Golden st took 18 three pointers!!!!!! And i was not just standing there letting them either. They finished the game 10/26 from downtown, Dunleavy 5-12,J.Rich 1-4,B.davis 4-9 and Fisher took 1 but missed. My question is to me this was crazyinsane and insanecrazy that sooo many 3's were taken, if I take the time to do the edits will this crazyness come to an end?? And has everyone took the time to already do this chore??

Re: Playmakers/Court Vision/WTF.......question
Hey there
Playmakers play sets were geared towards the 3 ball for the Warriors...and all those guys you mention have high 3 point ratings.
That's why they've taken so many on you...although the real Warriors have taken that many in games also...
It does take a LOT of time to do all the edits. I'm only half way
I'd suggest you go and do all the edits for the Warriors ONLY...then play them again. If you like the changes, you can then decide if editing all teams is worth it etc... -

Re: Playmakers/Court Vision/WTF.......question
The Warriors are setup to launch 3's during a game. But just to explain the reason why I lowered I lowered some players 3-pt rating was to stop them from launching 3's all game.
I basically lowered most of the players that don't shoot 3's in a real game or shoot a low percentage in real life from 3-Pt land.
You'll see that I left most teams top 3-PT shooters at their DEFAULT ratings, guy's like Nash, Peja, Dirk, Baron Davis and Kobe weren't touched. They all still have their actual ratings. I edited some of the other players on all teams in an effort to reduce the amount of 3's shot in a game.
Basically, you won't see Josh Howard, Tashaun Prince or Andre Igudala launching 3's they will drive more the basket.
Keep in mind I made all edits optional for any player. Basically I just posted all the changes I made for each players rating in Speed, Quickness, Offensive Awareness, Defensive Awareness and 3-PT rating's. So, if you see any player that you disagree with a particular rating you can assign him your own rating.
Here's why I touched these 5 ratings:
Speed-To boost up the movement of players to help on the lower game speed slider. Basically IMO after many games I think that the higher you increase the game speed slider the more influence it seems to push the game into a run and gun fastbreak festival.
Quickness-See Speed
Offensive Awareness-I lowered this rating for just about every player accept the stars and elite players on most teams. This seperates the top offenive players on each team from the average players. It helps to trick the CPU into relying more on their big guns on offense and less on guy's like Ryan Bowen stealing shots from Tracy McGrady or Yao Ming.
Defensive Awareness-I increased this rating across the boards for all players. The average defender now has a defensive awareness rating of 70-80 instead of EA's horrible low ratings of 30 40 or 50. The game basically had 75% of all players rated witha defensive awareness below 60 which was terrible. It also made many players stand around and not think about getting back on defense too often. This rating could actually even start off at 75 for all players but I did want to make the players all become great defenders.
3-PT-This was an OPTIONAL rating that I felt needed adjusted down for all players that are not 3-PT threats or do not take many 3-pt shots in real life. By loweering this rating for certain players it influences them to pass up more 3-pt shots and settle for a mid range jumper instead. You might also see more players try to drive inside as a result of this rating being lowered. Keep in mind this rating does lower the effectiveness of the 3-pt shot aswell. That is why I left most teams top shooters with their DEFAULT rating. You can also increase the 3-PT slider (Long Range Shooting) to balance out the lower ratings if you see too many missed shots from 3-PT range. I would reccomend that strategy because if 3-pt shooting is down because of the ratings the sliders will help you find a comfort level as oppose to increasing certain players ratings back because then they will start back shooting too many 3's regardless of the slider settings.
Hopefully those explanations help to explain the reason why I touched on those five ratings....NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Originally posted by HighlightSo basically if I spend mad hours doing the edits Golden St will still haul up 30's in a game because the playsets call for it, and because players like B.Davis have not been touched. So u have them set as a 3 in fast break but they seemed to haul up more threes than run the break?? I also noticed that 3 is the highest fast break setting even though it goes up to 5 max i believe. Why no team with a 5 fast break (suns) or 5 crash boards(Pistons)??
Trust me once you play some teams you'll realize why that Fastbreak Slider shouldn't be higher than 3 for most teams....
The Crash Board was set low for most teams aswell because it keeps offensive rebounding stats more realistic. If you don't mind the CPU collecting a high # of offensive rebounds you can modify any teams setting.
The Warriors had a few players offensive awareness rating lowered accept for Davis and Richardson so their 3-pt shots should decrease just a bit. Also keep in mind that the Warriors have shot 25-30+ 3's in game roughly 8 times this year already. I believe in their last matchup vs Phoenix alone this year they launched 33 shots from 3-pt land.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Playmakers/Court Vision/WTF.......question
Does anyone know what's up with the shoe codes and jersey's for the Pacers and Celtics?
I tried the codes but they aren't working. If anyone has that correct information could you please help me out and put it the codes thread.
I'm trying to update gear for most players.
