Man, you know your shizzle. The more posts I read of yours, the more I'm impressed with the testing and the results you're getting. Some of the cause and effect type things you're thinking of (and fixing) is blowing me away.

It leaves me with two questions but:

Why hasn't EA signed you up for Live 07?

And ...

Why hasn't EA signed you up for Live '07?

You have pretty much single handedly made this game one of the best hoops titles I've ever played.

I agree he does some very good work on these games. I'm still enjoying and playing with his Madden sliders in year 5 of my dynasty. I've never gone past 1-2 season's in any version of Madden until I used PM's sliders and that game became scary realistic. I see rb's tearing me upevery other week if I don't call smart plays. I found about Playmakers work from gamefaqs on the current gen live and I was skeptical at first because that game I felt was beyond being able to play a Sim style game of basketball but then when I used his playbooks and sliders the game became so much better. I didn't think it was possible because it played like NBA JAM without sliders and PM's playbooks.

Great work as always Playmakers because there would be no way I could figure half this stuff out on my own.

Hopefully for 07 we don't have to make this many adjustment. I think EA is headed in the right direction. They have some solids things in place right now and hopefully they give us a complete package next year.

i am hanging to play this game. i have it sitting in my room. i live in australia and the xbox isnt out till the 23rd but live 06 is. so i have the game but dont have the system. thats torture!!!
playing nba video games has been a hardcore hobby of mine since tvsports basketball on the amiga 500 made me a stat editing nba freak.
so i cant wait to use playmakers sliders from the outset.
playmaker u got quite a reputation around here. your are like live06's savior. the hero.
its great to know i am not the only statnut around.
i will be editing everyplayer in the game, and throughout a season i am editing. so the game is as updated and customised to my standards. thats why i am getting live for the 360. 2k6 for my xbox didnt cut it for me. its meant to be this tough sim and its not. its too easy to do get into the lane and score. live 06 on xbox with adjusted sliders and attributes played better and tougher that 2k6.
live has always needed sliders and adjustments. every series. as has 2k, but imo live plays a more intuitive and more physical game of nba.

I actually think that EA should be the one's putting in more effort instead of us. But hey that's how they are IMO lazy to a certain extent.

Just remember you can actually edit the players to your own ratings and scale. I just basically touched up on the ratings that seem to effect the gameplay the most.

Hey I'm in Australia too. Where you at? Are you going to go online with your 360? Be great to play someone in Oz who's a stat nut too.

Took me the best part of 4 days to get all the ratings and sliders upgraded. Plays so sweet after you make the sacrifice!
