for anybody who still cares about this game, i thought i'd pass along that in the best buy ad this week, they have dropped the price of the 360 version 10 dollars. its now $49.99(which i believe is still overpriced for what you are getting).

yeah the game wasn't really good at all this year IMO, It looked great but played like crap. I bet it wasn't selling much for the 360, thats most likely why they droped the price.

Judging by the demo I downloaded,i wouldn't pay 10 bucks for it,NBA live seems to be going backwards instead of forward.

I felt the same way at first but if you don't atleast make the changes and edits Playmakers listed then I wouldn't purchase the game because you'll be unhappy. However, if you have the time to follow playmakers guidelines for ratings, sliders and playbooks the game is a better buy for around $30 bucks.

I'm willing to bet about 75% of the guy's either only played the DEMO or played the game without Playmakers adjustments. It's still not perfect but much better than it was right out the box once you finish those 3 steps and find a solid camera. I play with Baseline camera and speed on 55 with his edits. I have 2k6 aswell and it was ok at first but became to scripted and less fun for 360. There are a few threads with feedback from guy's that have used the information playmakers came up with and most of them enjoy the game much better just as I do right now.

I agree, thats why I stopped playing 2k6.

Live 360 is ok, not great but ok. Considering that Live was rushed/not finished or whatever, it is still a good game.

I've never played the DEMO version personally. But I must say if it doesn't allow you to extensively tweak the game then your probably right it's not worth $10 bucks.

However, you can always rent the game for $5 bucks give yourself 10-15 minutes to make changes to playbooks and sliders and then select two teams and global edit their player ratings and go play a game.

It might not still be worth the $10 bucks your suggesting but I'm willing to bet it'll play better than the experience the DEMO version gave you....
