i will give that a go then. i am going to up defensive bigs quickness. this means i will generally have to up all players quickness to even out the scales. [i am so sick of ediitng every player though]. but i do need the blocks to be improved for the cpu.
played the jazz last night and won 103-102 with a big 3 with 1 sec to go to rally back from 6 down in the last minute.
it was williams and giricek that scored 49 pts together. my d was poor at times. ak47 had a typical averaged ak47 game. 4stls, 2blks, 10pts, 6rebs, 3assists. boozer was looked at but not enough and same with okur. they only scored 9pts a piece. still it was great winning the way i did.

next was the dirkless mavs. [dirk was injured]. and i dominated from the start winning 97-71. without dirk they had no one. my gameplan was to suffocate the perimiter and they only shot 36%. and 1/12 3pts. van horn did a terrible dirk impersonation with only 2 shots and 0pts.

I dont think there's any need to alter the smaller guys quickness to bring it inline to the bigs.

THe bigs still get up and down the court slowly, you hardly notice the quickness raise at all. In the paint is where it happens. Holes close quicker, you think you've beaten a player, then wham, they swat the ball ...

Since you're not raising speed and quickness for the bigs, and just the quickness, IMO you don't need to up the smaller players to level it out.

Quickness is pretty much the player's reflexes ratings ... Big guys will have just as good refelxes and arm movement as the smaller guys ... Basically what I'm saying is, I'm really not noticing any difference at all on the court between the edited bigs and everyone else.

i just purchased myself a 19" lcd monitor for my 360 and WOW. what a difference. the graphics are awesome.
last night i played 2 great games. so realistic.
1st the heat came to visit my home team.
i won 107-102.
i scored 36pts in the 4th to take control of the game behind some home court loving.
but the game had a great pace. there were spurts by both teams and heat played like the heat almost perfect. it was very rewarding.
shaq came out of the gates aggresive and scored the 1st 8 pts for the heat. then wade scored in spurts. then shaq got in foul trouble. he still ended with 23pts at 10-14fgs and 12rebs and was a force every moment he was on the court. and when he wasnt mourning would be assertive.
wade finished with 27pts most on dunks and drives. antoine was throwing up bombs and williams played a fairly conservative game till the final minutes when the heat started desperately jacking up 3's.
it was great.

next was golden state and i made a real effort to slow the game down to prevent davis and the warrriors freewheeling offense to go nuts on me. and it worked.
it was even as till my 4th q home crt charge and i won 99-91.
davis played exactly like his real life counterpart. dunking on break oppurtuniites and jacking up 3's. richardson played mostly conservative and ended with a modest 19pts. dunleavy was aggresive but mostly innefective. they should of gone to murphy more. he had 6pts in the 1st q all on offensive reb plays. he ended with 10pts.
but it was another great paced game.

just beat the knicks at home and am now on a 5 game winning streak.
it was great game as well.
the 1st half the knicks were playing like the game does out of the box. the guards were dominating the ball and throwing up mad shots. partly because curry is injured so other than taylor who was coming off the bench, they had no post presence.
the knicks hung in there and at led at a few stages. including rallying when my starting pg [me] fouled out. as well as my C being fouled out too and taking the lead and having the ball with 27 secs to go after a maurice taylor baseline j that took me completley by surprise. the knicks were content to pass it around and hold out the clock. i knew regardless i would have at least 2 secs and a Time out remaining to take the last shot. with 5 secs to go marbs recieves the ball at the top pump fakes and my thieving little SG pokes the ball out and bolts down the court to make the winning layup with 2 secs to go and the knicks without any timeouts. desperate knick heave and game over.
it was tops.
crawford and jalen scored 61pts between them and marbury struggled all night shooting 4/19. he had 11 assists though.

this game is playing so well now.

Played my 2nd season game lost to Utah 85-75 on the road. Dirk actually fouled out this game. I gambled several times by leaving him on the court when he I should've just been patient and let him sit out extra minutes.

AK47 had several acrobatic slams in traffic and even hit a sweet bank shot on a short jumper.

beat the pistons on the road in ot to keep my win streak going. played alright. billups lit me up and hamilton did his thing. rasheed was involved but shouldve been utilised more. i checked their playbook and i dont have rasheed stationed outside enough. he was being used in the post but only went 5/8fgs for 13pts.

next up was washington in the 1st game of a back to back series. i was at home and they came flying out of the gates. arenas and jamison combined for 21 of the 33 1st q wizard points. they took control of the game and never lost it. winning in double figures. dissapointing loss for me at home and broke my winning streak.
arenas ended with 29pts and 9 assists with 6/12 3's.
jamison had 20pts and 14 rebs and was a force all game at the pf spot. it was great seeing him used so often.
jared jefferies was the difference as he scored 10pts in the 4th to hold me off. finishing with 23pts and 8rebs.
the wizards went 10/21 on 3's
i will look to get my revenge as i play them back to back.
this is a big game within the context of my season as its a very tight race for the division title.
miami only hold a slim 1/5 game lead over me[charlotte] and washington is only a game behind. with about 15odd games to go.

got to stop their 3's and prohibit arenas from breaking out.

peeler came off the bench and was the difference with 16pts. caron butler is injured and his replacements surprised me.
i shut down their 3's which killed me last game and they still beat me. damn.
my team shot terrible from the field.

then i lost to the pistons.
billups and hamilton dominated me with 62pts between them. rasheed was a non factor with foul trouble but big ben scored 12pts and had 9rebs. 2stls and 2blks. it was a faily frustrating game. they ran too much and hoisted too many quick shots like how the game plays out of the box. still they generally played d like the pistons and it was a struggle to get a good shot.

i got to step up. 15games to go and i am in a tight race for 1st place in my div.

arenas definatley plays like his real life counterpart in my build of the game. if left open he will drain the 3. and if overplay him he will take u to the hole. he also looks to finish on the break a bit too. jamison after the edits is constantly looked for but as he plays pf it is mostly in the post. but has he has some nifty moves he is a danger from there.
there was even some 2 man inside outside plays between them and a pick and roll where arenas fed the rolling jamison for a alley layin. very impressive.

I've been trying to catch up on my Madden 06 game aswell.

I'm going to try and play about 2 games in my Mavs season tonight. My last game vs Utah was pretty bad Dirk couldn't handle Boozer and got into foul trouble then I kept rushing him back into the game and that made matters worst.

I'm loving how Derron Williams attacks the basket then kicks it out to a perimeter player on the Jazz. AK47 has to be the sickest defensive SF in this game. I couldn't get buy him at all and when I pumped faked for shots he wouldn't bite on the perimeter. Dude has made hops aswell as he a couple of sweet slams in traffic on me.

I'm loving the way the CPU really punishes you off the dribble drive now. They no longer will settle for quick long range jumpers unless you play off of them and give em space. I actually saw AK47 shoot a bank shot on me.

dyansty?? u must be talking about the non 360 version as there is only a basic season mode in the 360 build.
playmakers i am using the charlotte bobcats but in name only,
i have team of created players. [my mates etc] my team has a rank of 84 so we are pretty good, but i have no players ranked above 76. and my leading scorer is at 16.4ppg. i have a well rounded side. no superstars.
really hoping that ea re implement the create a team feature for live 07.

I'm only going to play Super Star Level using Player Lock Feature. That's the only way to play on that Level. I'm going through one season on All-Star where I control everything. Then in my second season or possibly even in the playoffs I'll jump it up to Super Star Level.

But I think both styles of play are great now since the CPU plays more organized basketball.

Hey men ... I haven't played in a while. It'll be a week on Monday since my last game. I was loving it though. Been so busy I haven't been able to fart.

All looks good to get a game in or two tomorrow, then after wednesday I got holidays from Uni ... So it'll be all on from there.

Sounds like you're getting a good season in Nogs. Winning streak followed by a losing streak ... All playing with a team which sounds like the real life Bulls, 16ppg leading scorer, no stars, everyone solid etc ...

I was on a 4 game win streak until my little enfoced break. Will post a box score up tomorrow

This game cheats for the Spurs.

I lost 96-83 in my 3rd game of the season. But every time I made a run it seemed like Ginoboli or Duncan would hit shots in traffic with guy's hanging all over them. I didn't sense this feeling playing Phoenix or Utah but with San Antonio they were always coming up with key baskets every time I closed the gap to about 6-8 points.

Parker had 4 fouls midway through the 3rd qtr yet he never recieved another foul the rest of the game. Maybe I'm just upset because I'm 0-3 but it sure felt different compared to the Suns and Jazz games. Those games felt natural and I just felt like I was getting beat because the AI was making me pay for my mistakes on defense or I was missing legitimate shots.

Against the Spurs my guy's were missing uncontested layups and freakin Nazr Muhhammed would somehow come from the top of the key down to the low post just in time to block any shot Howard or Dirk would try to layup after backing their man down.

Sorry to vent because I really do enjoy the game but this isn't the first time after many hours of testing and tweaking that I've noticed the Spurs get away with crap. That would explain why I can make Jared Jefferies, Matt Harpring, Adrian Griffin and Ryan Bowen into pass first guy's yet Bruce Bowen just like every other Spurs player goes up a notch for everything when ever you threatend to beat them in this game......

perhaps its because u made all spurs starters in the 90's for def awareness.
maybe u just had a bad luck run playmakers. i dont think its the spurs.
i think with bowen because he is a 3pt marksman. he will launch jumpers even though his fg's and awareness are low. i have noticed that in htis game. the guys that can shoot from downtown generally look to shoot the most.
stick with it. u may give em a good beating next time around.
maybe u are pissed because it was the spurs. u being a mavs fan would have a natural inclination to hate the spurs as they are your biggest rivals and u are in the middle of a series with them.
