Is Live 06 360 worth 40 bucks?

For those of you who have played it extensively, the price has lowered, and playing the demo pretty often now makes me believe the game can be pretty decent. I had fun messing around with it although it was only the same 2 teams


With the price lowered, what do you think, because im wondering should i pass up on picking it up today?

It is now if your going to download Playmakers rosters and settings. I was very upset with the game until I came accross his rosters. It plays a solid game of basketball now and top players are more involved for each team. They actually run more set plays and settle less on those quick long range shots.

I got my kit for $14 bucks at best buy or if you have a memory card I can copy the information for you. I sent back a couple of guy's memory cards this week. It took them about 2-3 days to recieve it back.

Also, to make it a smart decision just to test it out you should rent the game first then edit about 2-4 teams and see how it plays with my rosters and settings. That way you'll have a better understanding for less money right away by renting first.

I dont have anything of the sort PM. I guess I dont mind the project, as long as you can save the work without having to change things up each and everytime you play a team like in the past

No the Playbooks save automatically before you start the season. You just have to input the plays. The ratings can be done before you start a season or in season mode.

With playmakers, nogs and fluffy insight on the game I would give Live 06 a much better score then when it first released. Those 3 guy's came up with great player formula's to help this game play more realistic. I'd give the game a 8/10 after all the changes are completed.

I mailed it off monday.

I actually updated some players gear and included all the shot blocking edits I last posted.

with PM's rosters and plays, does this game play better than NBA 2k6?

if so, can you give a brief explination....

also, does this game have better offseason things compared to 2k6?

for example, in 2k6, after the playoffs u re-sign the staff, u re-sign ur players, do ur drafting, and then u sign free-agents... u get a 5M exemption, but thats it... if u only spend 2 million on a guy, u dont get to spend the rest of the 3.. so does ea's bball game have this?

another question, about the tranfer kit...

anyone know if the bestbuy in buffalo has it? canada doesnt get certain things such as that, cooler kit, etc.. but i dont want to drive to buffalo, just an hr or so away, and then it not be there... thx

just read that theres no franchise mode.. that in itself is a deal breaker
