u dont need any global player edits for the xbox version for it to play a good game of sim ball.
just tweaked sliders and maybe dropping a few freestyle superstar stats. ie: marbury and francis are not defensive stoppers.
the xbox version has none of the issues that plague the 360 version. thats why global edits need to be done. to manipulate the 360 AI to slow down, look for the scoring bigs and play a more refined and realistic game of ball.
the xbox version is a top game out of the box.
all it really needs is slider tweaks.

You really gave a great response with lot's of feedback there buddy. I'm curious to know did you get the game and play it based on what EA released or did you even bother utilizing the changes that playmakers made which is basically like a patch IMO to the gameplay. If your strickly basing your feedback on the first option then I'll agree with your response to the fullest. But if you haven't even bothered to give it 5 minutes with rosters and settings done by playmakers then maybe you should take a minute of your time and give it a try that way.

But to simply respond at this point it's not worth $40 is kinda like saying the game isn't any good no matter what and that's when I beg to differ with you because I think playmakers has turned it into a pretty good game. But then again I actually spent 5 minutes of my time getting his rosters and settings into the game which it doesn't sound like you have done. Based on that as I stated earlier I believe your using EA's game without the adjustments so your correct it's not worth $40 on those facts.

Nope.

Only Playbooks and sliders.

I think the XBOX and PS2 version plays very good without edits. Just tweak sliders and put in special plays for certain players and it plays great IMO!

Your new around here but just a heads up on advice.

The sooner you learn to ignore Football Forever the better off you'll be. I can't honestly recall any game that he didn't like after about 5 days. He'll return it then repurchase it 2 months later and claim the games are the best ever.

I learned that from Maddden, NCAA and MVP. The guy changes opinions like we change our boxers each day.

You know, thats my next question. Is this particular set of rosters outdated. Its either I have no clue how to load a memory card, or I know i saw guys like Jim Jacson on PHX, Derek Anderson on HOU, you get the picture

I think those are the default regular rosters that load up with the game.

Here's what you have to do:

Bring up the OPTIONS menu

GO to SAVE/LOAD then select LOAD

It will take you to a section that shows:

SEASON/ROSTERS/SETTINGS/UNLOCKABLES

SELECT ROSTERS

Then if you have the Rosters stored on your Hard Drive select Hard Drive if they are on your Memory card then select memory card.

That's how you load up the rosters.

IF you start a new season it will ask you do you want to use CURRENT SETTINGS & ROSTERS or DEFAULT ROSTERS

You'll SELECT CURRENT SETTINGS AND ROSTERS.

The Playbooks and sliders should already be loaded once you do this setup.

Also, I'm playing on Super Star Level using the Player Lock Featue and controlling the PG.

The Settings I sent you is for All-Star regular style of play. It's pretty good but I personally think Super Star with Player Lock is the best AI play by the CPU and most challenging part of the game.

The rosters are updated you just have to load them up. I put the players on their current teams already. The game is set All-Star with my settings after you load it up.

If you use EA's UPDATED rosters online it will have the regular DEFAULT ratings that the game came with already.

It's really easy just go to the main menu and follow the steps I posted to load up the rosters depending on where you saved them to your hard drive or memory card.

Okay I have it. Didnt copy the files to my HDD... geez, what a long day. I need a vacation.

Anyhow, thanks alot, I'll definitely send it back to you tomorrow. Im anxious to do the Classic rosters. BTW,how did you do them so fast?

I cant wait until friday night when i get some free time to spend on this.
