How to cut down the points in the paint?

It seems like everytime the computer has the ball on offense they'll just drive and dunk or do a lay-up. Can anyone tell me how to make it so they'll do more midrange jumpers?
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Assign them more mid range sets plays or 3-pt plays.

    Zipper
    Rip Iso
    Mid Power
    Single Double
    Cavelier
    Sonic
    Rocket Fuel

All those plays are designed to get off jumpers.
