What parts? I wouldn't go out and say it looked amazing. There was a little more interactivity that I saw. I know the game won't even look like this because the new technology that they implemented isn't even in the game. The players were sliding their feet and they weren't really as "aware" of the ball as the presentation at E3 showed. I loved hothe crowd reacted to a certain extent. Notice how the nets flow like the 2K6 nets on the XBOX though. Pretty hot. I'm definitely still waiting for EA to drop the real 2K7 screens and movies. They playing too many games.......

On another note, some of the 3s were ridiculous how they were getting hit. The ball physics looks a lot better now too.

...That was terrible...Player models as always were terrible...too skinny arms waaay to long...best things I saw were the crowd animations and the net...thats it..seriously...EAs got alot of work 2 do

Exact same problems that ruined LIVE 06 next gen...

So, I hope it simply is Live 06 / not finished...

No real off ball movement...terrible rebounding...SG's blocking each others shots (surely they realise guards like Wade and Stackhouse don't come up with 8 blocks a game on each other by now...)

Same "bump" animations...where a guy bounces back 3 feet every time they touch each other...

Basically, that vid is Live 06 with some new player emotions...

Must be a very, very early build IMO...

Nice coverage! I like the video alot. NBA Live looks so good on a HDTV, but the gameplay seems rushed, But thanks to PM and the rest of the guys that made Live a solid game this year. Makes me look forward to 07. I enjoyed 2k6 for awhile but it got old fast for me, especially how easy it was to just dunk on people and for people to dunk on me.
Both games will be a definite go for me this fall.

I agree, basically that's a clip of Live 06 in action... at double the frame rate.

Just wait, when they add facial animations, foot planting and new controls the frame rate will drop to disgraceful as it does every year.

That video mysteriously looks A LOT like NBA Live 06. Same player models and everything else. How come we didn't see the large WIP in the top right-hand corner like EA Sports does every year for every gameplay video they release. That's Live 06. We have been duped.

EA has notified me that the video clip was mistakenly sent and it was actually NBA Live 06, not 07.

The clip has been removed.
