Damn the current Gen sounds sick. EA looks like they are taking the current Gen out with a bang.

I'll definetly get both versions again because I really enjoyed 06 on PS2 last year. I thought it was the best SIM Live ever produced after tweaking it.

yeah like everyone said it sounds good, nah... it sounds great to me, but I just hope that they put the same amount of work in the next gen version. I read that they said it was better, but I'll believe it when I see it! I wonder when we'll get more info?

Well at least they got one thing right and made freestyle super star moves actually changeble on the fly. Im still skepticle after the sebacle that was live 06, especially compared to live 05, which is probably the best basketball game ive played.

changeable on the fly superstar means you can make a michael doleac a power player when given the ball in the post, or will guys have 0-5 superstar presets in their player profile, editable in the player editor menu??


im not really liking the starting of a dynasty with the DRAFT.. even if there real players, some like to sorta emulate the real season.,.. maybe theres an individual season with trades off. or an option to start on gameday with gameday rosters... even so, in years past, you could play almost a whole year in dynasty with accruate rosters and have a blast.. seems like thats kinda changing. Heck to dig further, would EA give us draft day rosters or gameday rosters with just rookies "off". i wonder how far they went into researching all the variables with this little addition

Other than that, im LOVING everything else they want to add. X factor sounds good ( wonder if thats editable). i like the momentum and game intensity. i hope its implemented well. like all playoff games have that SET HIGH all game.. allstar game, maybe for 40 minutes, it knows its low intensity, then stepping it up... Rivalry teams can be intense all the time... Maybe creating rivalrys in Dynasty Mode can be their next step.. If i face phoenix in the playoffs for 4 straight years, there could be some created intensity for the next years games...

lol all alittle wishful thinking. but i love the steps there taking.

i also like the team happiness implmentation, but like 2k5 or 2k4, it can be a bad move. i hope theres also an editable LOYALITY and other ratings... Kind of tough to add all of it, in working order, in just a few months though.

still no player emotion. i guess thats fine. i kind of miss it since nba live 2000.

looks like its a make or break game. implementing the systems right, and if not, giving us the editablity to fix it is HUGE.

EA... READ THIS PLEASE.. Make all the new stuff editable for all players

I think that was an option.

It doesn't sound bad, I was hoping to see a video of the gameplay though.

In terms of gameplay additions, the biggest change is in the controls. You now have one button to shoot, one for dunks, and one for layups.

DEFINITELY don't like this. Just gives people a more direct way of dunking on command. Should keep it as a dunk/layup button instead one of each

Ironic stuff. I'm so eager to see what the previews look like. It sounds almost overwhelming straight up. I like the idea of being able to do the game before the draft. I kind of want that to be a slight standard. I kind of wanted there to be an ability to start from the beginning of the basketball era and probably rewrite history but that'll never happen. I like the ability to pick any team and get lucky.

I also am curious to see how much deeper the next-gen is in their dynasty mode. I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye out for this one. If all that stuff is added, then I'm definitely going to give it a purchase this time. We'll see cause it's getting much tighter this year. Sounds like the ESPN stuff is being used pretty good this time. Hope they do something about the analyzing.......

Wow that sounds awesome. Like Ruben said it is alot to pull off in one year, but it sounds good. Hopefully the 360 version has all of this.

Im not longer buying the xbox version so the graphics shouldnt be an issue for me.


Im not surprised about this version though since Microsoft has abandoned the system. It still sounds good though

Are they implementing that footwork placement feature? Or was that just for the PS3?
