    Plenty New Screens

Pull off moves only the pros perform as you replicate the styles of your favorite NBA players. Elevate to the rim for an electrifying dunk and bring the crowd to its feet, or look to your superstars to shift momentum with the game on the line.

Intros look neat. Some of the faces are still out of whack (Dirk).

Wow nice find. The screenshots looks pretty good to me. But when is EA going to release an in-game video?

Thinking the same thing. I love how it looks, but we all need to see this thing in action.

I should be a big difference, especially with new "foot-planting" technique that they've implemented this year. Hopefully, right?

Thats exactly what I don't want to happen because the previews the game is getting are really making it look good. It would be a shame if it still played like it does now and the only difference between the two is that there is better collision detection or something of that sort.

I feel the same way because all the info that we're getting, tells us that this game is above and beyond the previous version. There are no excuses for a poo-poo or virtually identical game, and it's just not acceptable.

EA did a great job with the player models and body proportions. I remember some people suggesting that the picture involving Tmac shooting over Wade wasn't as realistic because Wade's face didn't look like his real-life counterpart. After getting a closer view, I actually think it looked very much like him especially when you add in the fact that his face is animating. EA did a great job on replicating the skin textures because the skin and muscle definition on these players looks extremely life-like.

I think if they tone down the upper body and beef up the calves it'll be some very nice looking models. That's my only problem with them.

Definitely more polys and overall better body shapes which looks great. Faces aren't as bad as I first thought either. They are recognisable and animate now so I'm cool with that.

There's only one thing that could possibly prevent me playing this game now and that's a bad frame rate again.

Agreed about the animated faces. You can kind of see it now. Especially in the TMac dunk pics. He has his "in motion aggressive face" on, so to speak. I think it's a good touch, at least from still pics.

I don't care if I'm alone on this but I love their player models. To me, they're realistic. B-ball players, especially swingmen, aren't **** diesel and bulky. They're lanky as hell, especially if you see them in person. Most are not ripped or cut up. They have slight, noticeable muscle definition. Look at Paul Pierce for goodness sakes.

I really liked the KG/Juwan Howard pics. The colors are really vivid. But for some odd reason, this was my favorite pic. To me, it just looks "right". Kobe's about to turn into a triple threat position. Hughes is guarding with his hand/forearm on his back, off hand in the air to block a pass. Kobe has the ball away from his body. To me, the animation is just spot on as it should be and you can see everything clearly. I like that.

Am I the only one that looks at these screens and thinks they look WORSE than last year, its so dark, the lighting seems pretty bad on most screens.

all in all, the game has me excited, and i expect graphics on par as 06 for 360 at release.
