From "pastapadre", an OS poster and our good friend at Madden Nation... and now, NBA Live Nation:
"This weekend NBALiveNation.com was launched, branching off of (and partnering up with) other "Nation" sites such as Maddennation. While the site is in its infancy, there is a lot planned for it and the long-term building is in the works. The ultimate goal is to expand on and improve the Live community, with a focus on the Next-Gen systems as well as online play.
Currently the Official League of NLN is accepting sign-ups. The league will be relaxed, not many teams and not having a huge need for time commitment. It'll be run on leaguedaddy and any info on it is in the league section of the forums.
The league is just the first step but there are much bigger ideas coming down the line. We are hopeful to have the same relationship with EA that MN has in order to increase communication between the fans and the company, as well as provide more detailed information on the game to the community.
Any questions can be PM'd to pastapadre on OS, MN, or NLN. Suggestions from the community are always welcome.
