They mixed them up i think, lol i got live and it is a 6.5 at most. I seen the next gen one and it was also just 7.0 to 7.1 material, perhaps this was the GS/EA payoff deal. We all know live on ps2 will outsell 360's and xbox one combined(bigger fanbase then both consoles combined), so it works out ok for EA, now the gamers who are uninformed will suffer.

its rated within the scale of the systems.
this doesnt mean the ps2 version is better [although it was last year]. the score reflects the reviewers opinion of the game on the 360. it has no comparison to the ps2 version as its a different game.
u cant compare the scores on 2 different systems unless they are the exact same ports. and live07 360 is a different game than the ps2 version. -

read the ps2 review he literally states nba live is more enjoyable on ps2 then 360, so i dont think your comment there made sense. No need to get defensive either, i am just repeating what the reviewer said in the first parts of the ps2 review.Comment

It's rare that a game makes the leap to the Xbox 360, only to be upstaged by the same version on the older consoles. Such is the case with NBA Live 07, which is more enjoyable on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox than on the 360. Live 07 won't blow your mind, as many of the changes from last year are of limited value, but it's certainly worth a look if you like your basketball games a little up-tempo.

i was simply stating that u cant compare the scores of 2 games on different generation systems that are not actually straight ports.
i didtn read the reviews. but if he did compare the games quality in his review then fair enough. i havent played either so i cant debate the issue.
last years 360 live was way worse [in gameplay as well as features] than the older gen versions and i have read that madden07 on the 360 is worse than its older gen counterparts so this doesnt really surprise me.
maybe next year EA will get it right.Comment

Joe, I see what your saying, but I see what nogster is saying too. The reason for that is that sometimes it is in fact fair to compare apples to oranges. While I would be harder on 360 Live than I would on PS2 Live simply b/c 360 is supposed to bring us a superior product (which is nogster's "scale of the systems" argument), like you I also think that in the end, system capabilites aside, the PS2 disk ends up being the superior product in the mind of the reviewer.
