I'm trying to unload Murphy and Dunleavy, there's no indication of who's under the cap or has space or whatever and it takes 2 days to get trades done since apprently they mail out letters in this instead of using the phone. I saved after day one expecting my trades to be accepted but they weren't. Now I got 3 days to unload these 2 guys before my first game wich means I'm going to have to keep reloading every time a trade is rejected. They need a better trade system. This also screws up trade deadline day because you'd have to make any offer before the actual day.

Annoying trade system
I picked Golden State. I started at the draft and after many attempts I finally went with a random order so I could get Rudy G. I ended up with pick 2 and got him and got JJ in the 2nd round so I don't want to start over.

Re: Annoying trade system
you cannot offer the same player to different teams. one way to figure out if your trade will push through is to look at the player salary and the teams salary cap. doing simple math, you can figure out if the salary of the player you are trying to trade is still within a teams salary cap. i actually think their trade system is good. it lessens our tendency to keep trading players. with 2k7 i just keep trying to trade and trade until i get a strong team. with live, it's kinda like real time. if you get denied, unlucky you. nba teams don't go trading players every week anyway.Comment

Re: Annoying trade system
If you press the help button, it will tell you which button to press to get the trade info, that's the button to press to find out who is under the cap or not. Off the top I can't remeber if it's Y or LB or RB. Hope this helps.
1neI will do today what you won't, so tomorrow, I can accomplish what you can't.Comment

Re: Annoying trade system
It does not matter who is under the cap. The salary of the players must be withing 25% when trading over the cap. They tell you that when the screen loads. I think it is true to the CBA, so I like it.Comment
