Something Positive About Live 360

I am seeing a lot of negativity in here about Live 07 for 360.... 2k7 is the better game, we get it already! So, as a basketball fan, and a fan of basketball games in general, I thought I'd post some things that I like about Live 07 for the 360... feel free to join in.

I thought the thread was to say something positive about Live. I hate when cats are smart-asses about threads, and post something that has nothing to do with the original post.

Guys, after a few days with the game, I am really feeling it. The atmosphere is great. The graphics are amazing. After edits, the gameplay is good. 2K7 gets boring to me after a while and you can never get an open shot. I love the footplanting in this game. Player models are great.

Defensive AI in my opinons has always been live's greatest strength..i love the footplanting and setting for a shot as well

yall are not reading what the man said..what do you like about the game..if you dont like anything...stay out of the thread.

-Graphics(models to the stadium)
-Defense AI
-The practice gym(what game allows you to play horse with your buddy)
-The FSS for the inside game(green orb)
-Dyanasty
-Commentary in the all star weekend is the best ever in sports games

I think some people missed the entire point of my post lol. WE GET IT THAT 2K IS THE BETTER GAME THIS YEAR, but some of us here are basketball fans in general so Live has something to offer, heck NBA 07 has something to offer for people like us. I don't even own Live (rented it, considering picking it up for the things that 2k doesn't offer), but Live does do some things very well. I have to say, I was feeling the level system that makes the more flashy moves harder to do (stick rolls and the like). There, I said something positive about the game. Flame me now?!? Oh yeah, I thought I was in the Live forum. I know this game needs a lot of work, but stop hating on people enjoying what they like.

Shots out to Live and keep those positive posts coming!

I get what you are saying with this post and while in some ways pointing at the positives on this title is kind of like re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic, some of the elements are similar to the MLB 2K6 title which had some nice ideas that weren't fully rendered to a final working model.

It's this kind of thing that makes me wonder if sometimes we wouldn't be better served as a market by having EA and VC alternate release years across all sports. Think about it and the innovation that it would encourage. If I was an enlightened Brand Manager for the NBA or NFL, I might seriously consider this type of approach if I was interested in getting the best product out there. You could do a Sim game (Live, 2K) and an Arcade game (Ballers, Street) every year, but have different renderings and the time to create and test a fresh approach every year

To me, that's the way that we would get the best product year in and year out
