In comparison to NBA 2K7 for the current gen consoles, how is Live 07 in terms of gameplay, franchise mode, and etc? I have a PS2, have yet to buy a basketball game for the season, and I need you guys to help me make up my mind! Is Live any better than 06 and is 2K7 any better than 2K6 for current gen? Which one should I get?

i have only played live o7 not 2k yet so i cant compare but .......nba live once again is stupid enough to release a game with huge frame rate drops its like they wanna look like dumb arses honestly it gets worse every year.It is an improvement from 06 in terms of features and how the free style superstar is used the alley oops are much better and i like the defensive mechanics .if this was how nba live 2005 was when released and **** and ran as smooth as live 2004 then no 1 would probly have ever started complaing about live if u dont mind frame rate drops i suggest u buy it.i was expectin much current gen is slowly dying any way and i have a 360 but am waiting to get 2k7 lol it doesnt release in nz until the 3rd of november.Last edited by j rich; 10-23-2006, 02:59 AM. -

gameplay wise?...06 is better, with slight slider adjustment. in 07, the pg's tend to go on these mad drives to the baskets where you can't stop them. J-Will shot 20 times in one game against me, and i was forcing him to drive the hole. he should've been setting up Walker, Wade and Shaq. im reeeeaally dissappointed in EA this year...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Comment
