Take the game away from ea canada and give it to ea chicago. EA canada has proven that they are completely incompetant when it comes to making games that arent racing, hockey, and soccer games.

fight night is just as bad a boxing game as live is a hoops game.

I don't think you should mention Def Jams 3 Icons if you're trying to sell the idea of a developer getting the reigns to a "sim" basketball title.

that's not saying much......fight night is a hollow,shallow "boxing" game. there is some fun to be had(multiplayer) but it gets old quick......there are 2 things it has going for it: 1.it looks fantastic. 2. there is nothing to compare it to on the 360 for now.

Fight Night is garbage IMO. You wanna talk about EA being lazy with Madden? Just look at fightnight. They don't even have a ranking system in their career mode. The list of boxers is a joke and they don't really emulate the sport that well.

Totally agreed. It didn't take long (about one fight) before I realized that Fight Night 2 is a 'fighting game', not a 'boxing game'. And, I'm not even a boxing fan. Get rid of the stupid haymakers, implement fatigue correctly, get rid of the canned animations in between fighting (or at least upload a large library of animations...if I see that chick in green panties one more time I'm gonna' puke). Add in ALL of the big-name boxers. No reason Mike Tyson shouldn't be in there. Create a REAL career system. You know, track statistics, use real trainers, implement injuries from training and fights. Get rid of the stupidly large (and largely useless) libraries of items that can be used by the boxer.

You guys seem to forget that ea canada also made the great mvp 05 and baseball games. They just needs to get More people who know things about basketball involved. They need to get someone on the cover who plays the game sim and that will make it better I think.
