Just to give everybody a break down, i usally get both 2k360 and live360 every year.

But with all the bad pub live got this year i stayed away. And like most people saw Playmaker's sliders. And the fact that there some visual things that bug me about 2k360 it made wanna rent live360. Dont get me wrong i love 2k7 but looks wise live has it beat.

i played around with some sliders and the game is not that bad i played 8 min qts between the heat and lakers was loseing 2 - 24 at 2:00 min maker played around with basic sliders like speed and stuff.

And figured out how to shoot, it seems to me that the high arc shoots is because the controller waits to long to let the shot go. But i had a great game after i got feel of every thing. Very good AI, it would double shaq every time down low. and i would kick out to j-will , walker for open j's it was great and looks great.

I cant wait to put some time into playmakers sliders and playbooks.

I do agree with you. It is not as bad as everyone seems to think. The problem is that there is a whole lot of tinkering that needs to be done. I don't have that kind of time anymore and 2K plays pretty damn good out of the box. There is a solid foundation for Live...and like you said, it looks good too. Have fun.

i think the main disapointment from poeple was the 'jumpiness', framerate, etc. if they fix that next year they're on the right track. i've been playing this game more than any other the last few weeks. i just hope they don't scrap the foot plant which is probaly causing alot of the stuttering, and rather just fix it. it really does add to the realism of the game.

It is nice to go in with low expectations. It was like that for me with MLB2K5. It got bashed in these forums, but with a $20 price tag I thought it was worth a shot. While the game had issues, I still was able to enjoy it....but that probably wouldn't have been different had I gone in with high expectations.

but i think on the 360 that a patch can fix that, threw downloading of xboxlive.

Oh yeah, I'm sure if they fix their jumpiness and framerate issues I'm gonna' buy their next game.

Its worse, really arcady, and deserved a 0-10. It feels really weird, Shots, everything are overdone.Online is laggy framrate and to easy to cheese.

NBA 2k7 is great but i traded it for Live because 2k7 looks awful on my standard tv. NBA 2k6 was awesome looking but not NBA 2k7. Too dark, the floors are so shiny it hurts your eyes. NBA Live 2007 looks awesome and with some tweaking plays a good game of basketball. People are so high on 2k7 that overlook and underrate this game...

Even with sliders you can not correct the horrendous bugs that kill this game. I am not anti-EA, but I just don't see how you guys choose it over 2K7. Oh well, if you enjoy it thats all that matters right.

I agree.

It would be like paying $60 for a meal and then when they bring you a turd sandwich you say, "It's not that bad. If I put enough mustard on this turd, it tastes ok."

lol, i cant believe its been over a month now and people are still saying "its not that bad." Some will like it, some wont. Its horrible IMO, no matter what you do with sliders.
