There is no answer. EA patched the PC version but didnt bother to patch the PS2/Xbox version and I dont think one is coming. They are focused on 08 already.

Man, I still can't believe they were bad enough to release a basketball game WITHOUT SUBS.

I played the PC game pre patch and it just kills the game. The CPU never...never...made a sub.

No one came off the bench.

The ultimate game killer...and EA simply released it and didn't care.

That's just criminal neglect of your customers.

If you own this on Xbox or PS2...you've every right to be pissed.

I still don't understand how software companies get away with this crap. If you went in and PAID for a burger with everything...got back to your car and it had nothing on it, you'd rush straight back in there and ask what happened...

Yet software companies can release a clearly unfinished product...and seem to not give a f...

What's really sad about this is that this is a major game killer and that no one noticed this in game testing.

This to me has to be the screw-up of the year. Does anyone know how the sales of NBA Live were this year.? I would be interested to see if they were way off.

Knowing that the majority of people aren't really sim type players and it wouldn't bother them at all, if the sales numbers are the same that would be a really bad sign and could mean a shift to even less simlike games from EA.

Xbox 360, they are behind NBA 2K series........

Many people will buy next-gen systems between now and October. It will be interesting to see if 2K can keep its next-gen market share.

I don't think that ALL next-gen system buyers (people who are buying PS3/Xbox360 too late for the 07 games but just in time for the 08 games) who bought Live 07 will prefer Live 08 over 2K8. Many of those guys realize now at least that 2K is not just an off-brand basketball title.

I honestly think that 2K will have majority market share versus Live next year in next-gen. Not by a lot, probably like 54% in favor of 2K.

I can 100% guarantee you it WAS noticed...no one plays a basketball game and doesn't "notice" there's no subs bro.

They released it anyway.

I am sure you are right. They probably assumed it wouldn't affect sales so they went ahead and released it anyway. And the sales not suffering at all just reinforces to the people at EA that sim type features aren't that important and aren't a big concern.
