Finally their making the main focus 5 on 5 basketball. Not like last year where it was all about graphics and dynasty mode. Now we can really see what EA can do since their focus this year is basketball not visuals.

Right. Don't they get tired of saying the same thing every year, then giving us a garbage game? Or maybe they thought we'd forget what they said, "It plays as good as it looks". I have always been an EA fan, but they have shown me nothing these past couple years. Talk is cheap, and that's all we'll get until we see the game in motion. I really hope that they get it together, but in the mean time, I'll just continue to play the solid, great-playing game that is NBA 2K.

I'll believe it when I see it EA - the game needs a complete overhaul and if I were EA, I'd give Live the NHL Treatment it got last year.

i m not gonna buy this game unless the demo convinces me this time, EA just know how to talk people into buying their games, good thing I got live 07 cheap cause i had hookup, but that game was so horrible that I couldn't even play a quarter of it. I traded that thing in on the 2nd day and got 12 bucks back.....I will not buy 08 unless the demo is good.

How could you guys not be excited about this game? They're focusing on 5 vs 5 basketball. That's 5 guys on one team and 5 on the other. With 5 vs 5 basketball we'll see 10 guys playing 5 vs 5 against each other in a 5 vs 5 competition. When playing 5 vs 5, there's a sim experience that anything less than 5 vs 5 could provide. Guys, come on, the focus is 5 vs 5, and if that doesn't get you pumped, then I don't know what else could. I can't wait to play online when the primary 5 vs 5 focus shifts down to 1 vs 5.

After Live 07, I don't think too many people will be hyped about this game five months from the game's release........

Maybe some will be in mid-late August, but even they may be more careful about getting too hyped.

Live has lost the benefit of the doubt amongst many consumers. The dev team has to bring a very likable package to the table in order for those consumers to bite.

Personally I think to much damage has been done. EA carries no weight at all after last years game. If no videos appear leading up to the release date, we will all know what to expect. Peace!!!
